Big Tom Spiced Tomato Juice- Bloody Mary Mix can (150ml x 24 Cans) for The Best Bloody Mary...Every time!

I've never used this to make a Bloody Mary, but i do know that it's the most fantastic tomato juice, spiced ot otherwise, that I've ever had. I have a glass of tomato juice every morning, and while i'm fairly adept at spicing up up my own, i've never equalled Big Tom. It's an absolute belter.

I've always made litre batches of spiced tomato juice to my own complex recipe, involving many ingredients, including plain tomato juice, Worcester sauce, tabasco, fresh ground black pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, ground cumin, celery salt, mustard powder, vinegar and tawny port. I don't measure anything so it's slightly different every time. Lovely but it takes about 15 minutes to make if getting out and putting away the ingredients is counted. It's a bit tedious to say the least but worth it and it only costs £1 a litre plus a few pence for the added ingredients.I've recently bought this ready-spiced tomato juice mix for the first time when the box of 6 x 750ml bottles was on special offer here. It's absolutely lovely stuff, either on its own or as a Bloody Mary (with a double vodka) or a Red Snapper (with a double gin), all over ice. It's British made and the manufacturer is "By appointment to H.R.H.". The bottle states the ingredients to be tomato juice, celery salt, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, water, white vinegar, sugar, syrup, salt, tamarind, garlic, pepper, cloves and malt.It tastes quite different to my own mix but is just as nice. The only down side is that, at normal price, even in batches of 6 x 750mls, which is the cheapest way to buy it, it costs 4.5 x the cost of my own mix. It is, however, such a strong mix that you can mix it half and half with supermarket tomato juice, making a £2.80 per litre mix, with the lovely flavour still being very much in evidence (virtually the same in fact).Finally, for flavour, it beats any other ready-mix brands that I've tried hands down. Highly recommended for the discerning Bloody Mary, Red Snapper and Virgin Mary drinker (as long as they have fairly deep pockets).

Bottom line - I just love the taste of this - I don’t add any vodka but just drink it as a slow and refreshing spiced soft drink.Best served chilled and sometimes with some added lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and some fresh ground black pepper.

We have bought a lot of this Big Tom. The product is great and we have never had a delivery issue until today when one of the bottles was broken. The breakage was not evident from the outer packaging, so beware!

It is without a doubt and by far the best tomato juice I have EVER tasted.I love bloody Mary's, I love drinking tomato juice on its own.Alas, most tomato juice that I have tried (supermarket brands) and others, have all been incredibly watery, generally unpleasant and not an enjoyable drink in any way whatsoever.I've found myself adding a vast amount of spices, herbs and Tabasco to make it palatable and to my tastes but have always been left wanting and with a feeling of disappointment, disillusionment and despondency.Then I decided to give this a go (bought from Waitrose at the time) and while it was quite expensive, I thought I'd try it as it was already spiced.Needless to say, the moment I tried it I immediately felt feelings of euphoria and utter delight which I cannot possibly describe.The spiciness (I like things spicy!) The depth of flavour, the thickness of the viscosity, the overall taste and consistency, it was truly superb! My only regret was that I did not have any vodka and celery on hand to make a Bloody Mary.Let's not forget that it is produced in the UK, the company have been perfecting their recipe for years (and by Jolly have they perfected it!) They've also been awarded a Royal Warrant and rightly so!The health benefits cannot be overstated.Tomato juice has a natural lycopene content of on average 75mg per litre.Look up the benefits of tomatoes and tomato juice and there is a very long list indeed of the benefits, how it prevents or helps with numerous conditions, and that in general, consuming more tomatoes and tomato juice will be a good idea for your overall health.Quinoa and other "superfoods of the moment" can get stuffed.Drink this stuff rather than orange juice or indeed any other fruit juice. Much healthier, proven health benefits and lower in calories!You will not be disappointed!

Arriving broken every time 🙁

I got this big tom spiced tomato juice as a gift for my mother, who liked the taste of it but prefers to have them in a can as when stored they can stay fresh for much longer unlike the large bottle version when opened that you see in all supermarkets selling them. Trust me, she is correct on this. It is available in a pack of 24 cans and each can is enough of 1 serving. Ideal for parties or social gatherings. You can have it on it's own or with ice for your own virgin mary, a non alcoholic version of a bloody mary. Otherwise just add to your preferred vodka for your choice to make your own real bloody mary. All ingredients are mixed in the cans, so no more additional efforts required to have your favourite savoury drink. Best item and purchase I ever made to make my mother happy.
