There were more than 10, maybe 13 plants in total. All in good health, packaged well. An absolute bargain for this price. Attach it to a bit of wood or ornaments or even rock, using some cotton thread and be patient - after a couple of months, they'll kick in and start to produce new leaves left right and centre. Some already come with new leaves growing but the plant takes a little time to settle in and to truly start growing. The cotton thread will dissolve over time but by then the roots will be using themselves to attach the plant to the object and the thread will no longer be needed.Java ferns are super hardy, growing under conditions that most plants wouldn't tolerate and take their nutrients directly from the water, which is great as it makes the water healthier for fish. Highly recommended.PS. Loads of information on this plant (and every other) is just a google search away- have fun!
