Easier than running new outlets.
We made some home improvements in our lower level and the one thing that I did not want to have to do was to run new electrical outlets with the new cabinets and countertops that were being put in. So I looked for another solution and this is what we came up with which made things very easy and nice looking. We bumped the new countertops out by 2 inches so that we could plug in these outlets from behind and then cut a hole in the countertops and the bookcases to make things look seamless.

Work well and are very convenient!
I just got done building some custom kitchen cabinets with a stone backsplash and we used one of these in the end of one cabinet section, so this was installed in the side panel, the second we installed in the stone backsplash and now that the kitchen is back up and running I can tell you that these have already proven to be infinitely useful. They have worked perfectly so far and look great!

Good quality and works well, albeit with one minor glitch
I bought this power strip to improve the power and tangled charging cord mess on my desk. Overall I am quite pleased with it. I made a minor modification to my desk to allow me to properly mount this power strip and route the cord to an outlet. It is working very well, and has helped organize the cords much better. Definitely 5 stars.I have noticed one minor glitch, which I somewhat expected before buying this power strip. The USB outlets work well for my "i-things" and I use it daily. The USB ports have a power saving feature, which is a good thing. The one glitch is my Apple Watch charger draws so little power that when I put my watch on the charger it does not draw enough juice to "wake up" the outlet. The solution is pretty simple - when this happens (most of the time) I unplug the watch charging plug and plug it back in, which is enough to wake up the outlet and get the charging process started. I don't view this as an annoyance, just a quirk so its fine for me. Others might or might not find this "feature" to be objectionable. Since it doesn't annoy me I did not take away a star for it. All in all, I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Actually product is larger than the specs state
I haven't installed or used this yet but I cut the hole in my cabinet based on the specs shown to me in the product listing as soon as I purchased the item. Hoping I could install it as soon as the package arrived to my house. That was optimistic. The actual product is larger than the one in the diagram. The 4 outlet product needs at least a 1 3/4 x 7 5/8 hole. The front plate is slightly larger as well. About 2 1/4 x 8 1/2. Do not go by their diagram. Be smarter than me and wait until the product is in your hand. Other than that it looks nice!

Solves a whole bunch of problems!
My husband worked for an electrician for 2 years while he was in college. He is now a teacher so he has all summer off and several long holidays. Doesn't it seem like he should be able to do all kinds of cool electrical projects around the house? Well guess what, he never seems to get around to them and our house was built in 1978 so it has a shortage of electrical outlets. This little unit is a Godsend!! I am so over the clutter of chargers and wires on my kitchen countertops. I bought a cute little Sideboard Buffet Cabinet on Amazon (Shahoo Farmhouse Sideboard Buffet), cut a hole on the side to fit this and now I have a charging station! I love that it has an iPhone inlet and 2 USBs built in so I can toss the collection of those little plug in cubes. It charges quickly. This comes in various cord lengths so I plan to put one inside my dresser that the TV sits on, one on the side of my nightstand and one on the side of my kitchen island. The only thing that would be awesome to include with this is a template for the hole.
