If your readty to move up to single reed calls, then buy this...
A good single reed duck call. The operative phrase here being SINGLE reed. If you are new to calling, this is NOT for you. Newbies want a DOUBLE reed call like the Primos Wench. A single reed call is louder, carries further, offers you a lot more variety and is MUCH harder to get to sound right. You MUST use "voice:" to get this or any other single reed to sound right. A single reed is much less forgiving of blowing a clinker than a double reed call is. You need to know what your doing, or you can consider this a long range duck repellent device! Seriously, you will scare them off before you can even see them much less shoot them. However, once you actually DO know what you are doing - a single reed call definitely belongs on your lanyard, and this is a good one to affordably make the leap from double to single reed. Plastic / acrylic material, comes with a good lanyard and instructions that are pretty much useless. To learn how to actually use this buy the Mastering The Art DVD from Primos, or better yet, have an experienced caller show you how.
