L-Lysine Powder 500g Pharmaceutical Grade (Additive Free)

Purchased because I could no longer swallow the huge tablets. I found the easiest way to take it and mask the flavour was to add the powder to about 50-100 ml of tepid water and give it a good stir to dissolve, then add a sharp juice, Cranberry works exceptionally well, (also tried tomato, and orange/carrot/turmeric with great results) up to 100-125ml and stir again, and drink immediately. I would definitely buy this again.

I have been taking it for years now. I know it works because I don’t get many cold sores, I stop taking lysine and within a week, a new cold sores appears.

I use this in small amounts to help my Burmese cat with his cat flu flares, it does seem to help take the symptoms down if I can get him to eat it. It's extremely bitter to taste (I know I've tried some) and is so strong it makes any food taste a little funky. I tend to give him a small amount on a tiny rolled up piece of ham, he'll only eat it that way. I have to say though it does help when I can get him to eat it. A great product, in such a huge pot even for human consumption it'd last a long time. Fab product overall. One star down for the taste, although I don't think that can be helped it's just because it's such a pure product.

I was advised to give L-lysine to my cat for his "flare up symptoms". I took him from the streets 5 months ago and have never managed to fully sort out his eye gunk, itching and sneezing. Within a few days, the inflammation round his eyes has dramatically reduced, as has his sneezing and scratching. Amazing stuff and will hopefully continue to improve my boys health. It was also very quickly delivered. Thank you so much!🙂

I thought I was getting powder this is more of a grit like texture. I am unsure of the overall benefits so it gets 3 stars.
