High pressure; allows easy access to back of mouth
I got this to help me keep my wound clean after I had my wisdom tooth removed. It made pressure washing all the way in the back of my mouth very easy. I had tried using a regular syringe while I waited for this one, but the results I got with this tapered curved tip syringe were far better. I was amazed by all the pieces of food that it dislodged even after I had brushed my teeth and rinsed with mouthwash. It's been over a month, but I still use it occasionally. Great product

IMPORTANT ITEM FOR MY KITTY MAINTENANCE ARSENAL.
My cat, Sherlock, does not drink enough water. For those times when he drinks even less than usual, enter this handy syringe. I've had several over the years which now are no where to be found. When I discovered this one on Amazon, I just had to get it. I feel a lot more prepared for having done so. This syringe also helps at times in feeding supplements and thin gravies/broth laced with vitamins. I highly recommend keeping this syringe on hand!

Works well to feed baby birds but not durable
I got these to feed a baby bird with and they worked great. Clean up not a problem with hot soapy water. They are not durable so I'd suggest buying extra to have on hand.

Syringe is Exactly What I Needed
Our Blue Grand, a 14 year old Maine Coon cat, has Megacolon disorder. Every month or so, he has problems again. I had a syringe like this before we moved. Somehow it got lost in during the transition. I could not find any like it anywhere else. I searched all the big box stores and pharmacies online as well as locally. It just was not available. So when I saw this on Amazon, I jumped at buying it so I can give him liquids to help him. It does squirt out pretty quickly, which I like as it makes my time treating Blue a lot shorter. It fits right in the corner of his mouth, which makes it a lot easier to administer the juice and Epsom salts or water directly down his throat. Now understand, I love this syringe, but that doesn't mean he does. He fights me every time I use it. Of course, he's a cat and doesn't realize I am just trying to help him get unclogged again. It is curved and sturdy. I expect it to last a long time, even if it gets chomped on.It was packaged very well and delivered in a timely manner. I, highly, recommend buying this for any kind of treatment you need for your pet or yourself. You won't be sorry.

Worked great for keeping braces clean and for gently rinsing stitches in mouth after jaw surgery
I bought these to clean my teeth with after surgery. I used it also to admin saline solution on mouth stitches...I was able to apply gentle washing on stitches and wounds, and then could use higher pressure washing for getting bits of food out of the brackets of my braces. I love the curving on this syringe...allowed for precise position of stream. Glad I have them. They will be handy for other uses in the future too...i.e. pets (original use I see!).

Price way too high! But great for hand-feeding birds and small animals
Minus two stars for the price. Terribly expensive... when I can get an entire box of 50 for around $24 from my medical supply company. These are disposable endodontic (dental root canal) syringes that are used for rinsing root canals out with dilute bleach. Bird breeders also use them to feed baby birds. I generally cut the tips back as babies get bigger and require thicker formula. You need to be careful if you do this, and file the cut tip with a fine emery board or similar so that there are not rough spots that may injure baby's mouth inside. Also, the rubber gaskets on these syringes wear out quickly so you don't get many uses out of them. To extend use, you can spray them with a lubricant or cooking spray to make them easier to plunge.

Great for tooth extractions
My husband and I both use this little tool when getting a tooth extracted and you have the open hole in your gums for food to get stuck in. This tool flushes all of the food particles out and helps the healing process. I don't know what we would do without this thing! It's a must have for getting particles out of your gums/teeth. If you couldn't get one from your dentist then buy this one! You will thank me.

The black part looks like some squishy rubber
I bought this for art.To apply small amounts of nailpolish remover into my older dried up nail polishes. And to apply small amounts of oil thinner to the oils I paint with.It works well for my purposes. The black part looks like some squishy rubber. not bad at plunging liquids out.It does not seem to have any measuring lines.
