It all works
All of it works. Yes, the instructions are in Chinese but you can just look it up. Would have been more fun with more wires etc but we used some extra stuff at home. FYI you need at least 3 bits of fruit for the LED.

It works!
We ran the digital clock and red led bulb for nearly two weeks from one potato. Instructions in Chinese, but not a big problem.

bought 6, kids loved it
I bought 6 of these for a classroom science day for 8-9yr olds, gave each table a set and some fruit. They generally worked, and the kids were happy.I did use a translator app to read the directions but it wasn't hard. In the interest of time, I also attached all the clips to the wires before giving them to the children. We used these on lemons and potatoes. We could not figure out how to set the clocks, but they turned on, so that was enough to see the experiment worked.

Nice at-home science
This science experiment worked well, though I would have liked a bit more in the way of instructions with it. I ended up looking at some videos online and worked out what we needed to do.The kids really enjoyed it - a cool at home science experiment.

Instructions in Chinese
I ordered this to conduct a science experiment at home with my son. At first it was confusing as all the instructions are in Chinese. Luckily the diagrams were good enough for me to work out what to do. Both myself and my son found this fascinating, and a single potato was able to power the LED light and clock for 3-4 days.
