And one may wonder why, in the era of smartphones, it would be necessary to purchase an alarm clock, right?I didn't really get it for the alarm feature but rather, because I needed to check the time while teaching an online class, and this clock is perfect! I place it close by where I can inconspicuously keep an eye on it and it keeps me on track!It is very light, it has good, readable black numbers that stand out on the white clock face, and it is actually very, very accurate!It is battery-powered (batteries not included) and easy as 1, 2, 3, to set up. I also like the colour, and the alarm sounds quite loud (not that I will ever use it to wake me up -I promise-)I remember my father used to love his alarm clock -one very similar to this one, but red- and he swore by it! So, who knows how many people out there still rely on analogue clocks (like me) for certain things?It is made of plastic, so if you want something fancier, look elsewhere. In my case, this is just what I needed; small, light, readable, and inexpensive. I certainly love it and would buy it again, if need be.

Clock is just as described... perfect size and just enough illumination...

The perfect size for an exam hall setting. I used this to take the bar exam and it saved my life, and also the person next to me's life LOL. small enough to be allowed into the hall but big enough to where you can easily see the time with it on your desk. Great price too. Alarm is also pretty loud.

This is a real trouper. I needed a clock with a second hand for hiit exercises. This works great. It's small, I can put it on the floor next to me and it keeps accurate time. The price was great too.

I have two other clocks similar to these, and they’re fine. This one is not so great and definitely not silent. It’s cheap, but don’t even waste that much money on it.

One night during my sleeping hours, there had been a short power outage. The power came back on but the alarm didn't go off in the morning because the electric clock needed to be reset ,and I overslept, missing an important appointment ! Ever since then I have made sure to use a battery operated bedside clock to avoid that ever happening again. This little clock does the job perfectly, it's silent, easy to read and best of all no electromagnetic frequencies to interfere with REM sleep :-)Believe it or not , even a small electric clock or worse yet, a cell phone, gives off an electromagnetic field that can interfere with the Human nervous system, even more so in especially sensitive individuals.EMF pollution and electro-sensitivity is real and many who suffer from it may not even realize it.Using battery operated devices when possible helps to minimize this.I am happy with this clock, thank you .

The size and design of this clock are just perfect. It keeps good time and is easy to read. Fortunately, it was not for my bedroom, as it is not entirely silent. It makes a small noise, not ticking. As long as it is in a place where that is not an issue, it is a great deal!
