I am writing this review after using this awesome printer for 6months i bought this in the great Indian festival sale last year and it costs me around Rs 7200/- after card offers I must say that at this price quality is just awesome and prints perfect easy to use just 1 backlog is regarding rear photo paper load don't work perfectly so I load photo print paper in its cartridge for photo print out.Till now not faced any major issues except photo paper loading.

This my first Brother printer (01 Nov 2024) and it impressed me (used both HP and Canon till now) This is hands down the best printer from brother. I bought the non wifi version t226 as i dont need wifi and saved me couple thousand. The printer was not easy to set up but downloaded the drivers from brother website and it worked perfectly.The scanner is some thing to talk about, canon and HP does max 600 dpi but this one can do 1200x1200dpi and i am blown away, was not expecting this resolution at this cost of 8.5K. Make sure to download brother iprint and scan software to get the full potential.The print heads are also piezo electric ones and not thermal, so theyll last very long hopefully. Better value for money than HP and Canon and on ball park with Epson but still affordable compared to all. Great printer overall, would recommend it for a home purpose. Please print one copy every week to keep the print heads from clogging and should work trouble free. Will update in future about how it goes and how long it lasts.

Received a defective product.

Cons:Power cable sits loose in the printer socket. Nightmare to print booklets as it definitely takes two sheets sometimes especially in booklet prints inspite of all precautions. Scanner is big enough but doesn't scan the whole area. 60% times gives paper jam error when a sheet is feeded from external feeder (You have to train yourself for it).Pros: Build quality seems good. Paperport software (to edit pdfs) is free with it. Printing speed & quality is good. One has to change the option of photocopy via copy shortcut to b&w from the software else by default it prints only colour photocopy. Turn on the silent mode if you don't wish to see it in angry mode.

I was little skeptical while purchasing this printer but i am satisfied after purchasing this product.Pros: Cost is low compare to other well known brands.Look wise it is too good & looks professional.I am not sure about numbers of color & B&W pages it will print. But it seems like it is going to have satisfactory outcome. (lets see in future).Scanning quality is too good, Photocopy feature is also good.Cons: Lack of wireless facility ( but in terms of price it can be ignored).If you are looking cost effective printer for office or home use, Just go for it.
