Great product!
I'm reviewing the 1800 Watt double burner hotplate. I dobt usually write reviews but this product deserves a positive mention. I ordered this for my son as a temporary stove top replacement for his stove which isn't working right now. Im very impressed. It took the hottest burner on this unit 4 minutes to reach a soft boil. The stove top also looks great and has great temperature adjustment. I compared it to my conventional stove top which took 2 or 3 minutes longer for water to reach same level of boiling. As you can see from pics it sits evenly on his table and looks very nice.I also compared before buying with several other similar items both from Cusimax and other more expensive brands. I went with this model due to the majority of positive comments, the reasonable price point, and the high quality modern design. This model surpassed my expectations and will be ordering a second one for myself for holidays, and travel. Highly recommend.

Satisfied, meets expectation.
So, far it works great. The housing does get hot to the touch but, that's expected since it's made out of aluminum . solid build quality. It does boil water at a fair amount of time. The cord length is average as expected.I am very satisfied with this product. But, will see in time. I only had it for a week.

Takes 20-min to start boiling 1 gallon water✅️ Hot to touch✅️ Relatively cheap✅️ yep...
The media could not be loaded. OverallBurner quality:Decent looking metal surface with printed "white marble" design enamel coating. Entire unit is surrounded in a shell of sheet metal which becomes quite warm to the touch (some would consider it hot) even operating only 1 of the 2 burners on high. Both burners running on high settings makes the entire surface *(including the temperature control knobs!!)* likely too hot for most to touch with bare hands, so gloves or mitts are probably necessary for most operators of this thing. Each burner is 900W, max. They do NOT balance 1800W between them as may be implied in ad headers. In other words, using only 1 of the 2 burners will not allow that burner to use the full 1800W, unfortunately. This seems like a very easy thing to implement in such devices, so I can only assume they would NOT do it in order to use cheaper overall build materials that only have to withstand 900W of single-burner heat output... any single 1800W burner will necessarily be encased in and wired with more robust materials. Alas, 900W max burner units are cheaper because they're... well... cheaper. 😅Works well:...enough. At my elevation of about 700' above sea level, one (preheated bare) 900W infrared/ceramic burner at full power takes about 20 minutes to reach a gentle simmering boil of a gallon of water, which appears to be the best boiling it can do for my test pot:*Test pot is 6Qt capacity, filled with about 4Qt of our well (spring 🤤) water from the tap. The pot's bottom plate precisely covers the full diameter of the heated ceramic surface, exactly. Fwiw, the pot is a Carote brand, detachable-handle, ceramic nonstick coated, aluminum pot with a mild-steel-insert baseplate for induction-readiness. I'll attach a video. Why did you pick this product vs others?:So far, it's worth about what I paid for it. I.e., not more than 80 bucks.

Great Price
Great price, good quality, quick delivery. Nice double burner for medium size pans. I broke it in by frying some diced potatoes on a setting of 8 and 9 (11 is the highest). Worked great. I mainly bought it for back up or emergencies. Light weight and easy to store in the box it came in.

Black Cusimax 1500 Watt Hot Plate - YES YES YES !!!
Looks and works exactly as described. It's a bit larger than I expected but I'm very happy about that. Should handle a large frying pan or pot. Heats quickly and evenly. Made some really good stew with this thing. Exactly what I was looking for.... THANK YOU !!!

FIRE/SAFTEY HAZARD and only operates at 1390W
I placed 4 cups of water in an open pot and turned the hotplates temperature to the maximum setting while monitoring the unit's power consumption with a watt meter (see photo). From a cold start it took approximately 11.5 minutes for the 4 cups of water to reach a rolling boil and the watt meter never went above 1390W (for comparison, it took 7.5 minutes to boil the same water on our gas stove). These numbers were within my expectations when I purchased this hot plate. However, what I didn't expect was that within the time it took to boil the water the entire body of the hot plate became extremely hot. The entire unit is made of metal and it rapidly conducts the heat of the cast iron top. I couldn't touch the body of the unit at all without getting burned and I couldn't touch the temperature dial for more than a second at a time before it became too painful, and after only 12 minutes of being turned on! It also has no internal fan so the internal wiring harness is also getting cooked inside it's oven-like shell at the same time, which I have no doubt will inevitably lead to a major fire hazard with enough use. This hot plate is such an insane safety hazard I'm shocked that there aren't hundreds of reviews of people, or their children, with 3rd degree burns after accidently touching the hot plate after use or photos of scorched countertops/cabinets when the internal wire harness melted.I really wanted to like this product since cast iron hotplates are so cheap and robust in design but this is unacceptable. I ended up purchasing an portable infrared cooktop instead and even though it only runs at 1190W it managed to boil the 4 cups of water in about the same amount of time from a cold start and the body of the unit remained cool to the touch throughout the test. This Cuisimax hot plate should be removed from Amazon for consumer protection.
