Metal Book Stand - Adjustable Book Holder for Reading (Full Black)

I have an old Levenger book stand that a friend gave me that she had used for years and now I have used it for years. I've wanted another book stand like it for years, but I could only find the big wooden stands that take up too much room and which fall apart after a couple of years.The last big wooden one fell apart so I went back to Amazon to buy another and lo and behold, here was a small metal book stand similar to my Levenger. And it was cheap! And it came in colors! Yippee! Not wanting to get too excited, I ordered the black, and it is now doing exactly what I wanted--holding my phone, book or magazine while I eat a meal. The hold the page down part doesn't work with a thick book but I find a clothespin can be substituted. Now, I can't tell you if it will or will not fall apart in the next year or two, but right now, it's exactly what I want.

This is small but a great size to hold just a few documents on a small desk. It is easy to adjust and the color and finish are good. I bought this in the powder blue.

Item is as described. It holds up pretty well; can manage quite a few papers, tablets, and even light books. It’s portable; can easily fold up to slide into a bag’s pocket or even laptop sleeve. It was just what I needed.

I am not using this for its intended purpose. So my review is kinda moot. I am a mail carrier and I am using these to hold my mail forward in the tray. It works fantastic except the bottom slides in the tray. The 4 anti skid pads that they even point out, do not anti skid anything. So I will have to tweek them to work for the way I am using them. But as long as you are not expecting this to hold your book in place while driving, it should work great! and you cant beat the price.

It's not the best, but it gets the job done in terms of function. One wrong page turn and it's done. The color's exact, but it doesn't raise the book off the desk. You'll still have to archery your neck, and if you're trying to avoid that then avoid this item too.
