Received yesterday and installed today in about 5 minutes. Fit perfectly and on first pull my tiller started and the rewind worked perfectly. Very satisfied with this replacement starting rope product and the price was reasonable.Second time I used it, it failed and started slipping. Could not get the pin to catch on the housing bracket to turn the engine over. Needs to be replaced by a different manufacturer.

An exact replacement for the factory pull starter on my Viper Auger with an E43 engine.

I was skeptical at first when I saw the replacement about how well it would work as it’s not exactly as what was on the engine. But after finally getting it mounted it works great. Apparently my old recoil starter was worn pretty bad and this engages much better than the original. For the price I’d get another before buying a new earth auger

Imstalled properly on minin bike. Pulled it 3 times and the recoil snapped . The pullstring started to fray after one pull. China blows

Well worth the money but you get what you pay for. The spring inside it is rather loose feeling.

Did fit like it said it would made good though kept it thought maybe it would be needed for another weed eater

I’m giving a five star review because the item looks like it would work great if it was the right size for what I’m looking for the delivery time is quick. FYI This item does not fit a Tanaka leaf blower.

While this product did fit correctly, it DOES NOT engage with the motor without pushing down in the middle of the recoil….so there’s a trick to using it. Sometimes it pays to buy the OEM product!
