Accounting All-in-One For Dummies (+ Videos and Quizzes Online) (For Dummies (Business & Personal Finance))

This is a massively huge book and covers all the bases. For those who mentioned that they did not get the code to access online videos via email, I admit the written message here is confusing. I thought the same thing, but in reality, on page one if the book it tells you a website to go to, and that is where you sign in and they send you the code via email

This is fairly comprehensive. I do have a smidgeon of accounting in my background but needed a refresher and a reference and I think this will do the trick. So far so good at least

I got this book for my husband who’s trying to brush up on some accounting skills for some volunteer work he’s doing. The book covers it all. It’s THICK, so lots of pages with a pretty small font. Not exactly easy reading but necessary reading if you need specific information. I see it as more of a resource book. I’m giving it 4 stars because of the smallish font. Otherwise, if you’ve got some good glasses or some good eyes, you’ll likely find this book super helpful.

I honestly thought that this book was going to be like the updated version of that thousand and one accounting problems book they have because I was looking for a workbook to actually practice accounting methods in this is literally just all of their accounting books in one book which is all right, but I got the paperback and I highly highly highly recommend getting the spiral bound. I really wish I would’ve gotten the spiral bound because the book is so big there’s so many pages and stuff that The more you get into it and actually read it the worst the pages get as far as like turning them in increasing them and whatever the bind gets really really weak after a while so that’s kind of the only thing is if you’re thinking it’s a practice workbook. It’s not. It’s more like a textbook and definitely get the spiral bound one it’s worth the $40 I think , it was helpful. I just thought it was going to be different.

I love the idea of being able to teach yourself incase you dont feel confident enough in a subject.
