i didn’t anticipate how much i would appreciate this when i ordered it. i was replacing one that had a few flaws of which i was aware.but after using this once, i realized it had flaws that this product corrected.first, it’s easier to pour. the lid does not have a lip that traps coffee as you pour and then flows back into the press when moved towards the upright position.second, it’s easier to clean. the screen rinses clean in a few seconds without any manual manipulation needed to loosen trapped grounds.third, it’s less fragile. the glass doesn’t feel as brittle and the black plastic protector is better positioned to actually protect.my old one still works, but it’s going in the basement for emergency use only.

This is not my first french press. But it is my first from this brand. I am very happy with it. for one thing, unlike other presses I've had, it's dishwasher safe. The plastic feels a little cheap, but the glass and metal components are sturdy, and those are the important parts. I love the color and had a hard time picking which one to buy because of the variety of fun colors. As usual, it is easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to put back together.

A French press is a simple device. This one does everything right and is priced to make it the best value IMO. I have put pounds of coffee through this and as a happily caffeinated person wanted to share the joy with the world. This has a good capacity, is dishwasher safe in my experience even if somewhere it says it's not. All metal is stainless so never rusts. It's a good unit and great price without unnecessary metal bands for the handle.

Just what we needed for company. In a household that does not drink coffee, but we have company. it is a great way to offer Coffee to guests. Not a lot of clean or counterspace taken up with it.

Perfect little French press! It made a fabulous cup of coffee. The price was right! I plan to take this camping and I’ll obviously be very careful to not break it, but it seems easy enough to pack away and travel with without taking up a lot of space. I would highly recommend!

Good size, sturdy, easy to brew and clean. No noise ( hand press) and holds the coffee at a good temperature. Perfect for brewing coffee from grounds if all you have is a microwave or electric kettle. Compact and saves space over a coffee maker. Also fits in fridge for cold brew.

The product arrived in perfect condition. It was wrapped very securely and I can't wait to use it. I usually have only 2 cups of coffee per day, so I bought the 34 oz. size. I would recommend going up to the next size especially if you use a 12 oz. mug. Otherwise a good purchase.

The plunger does not press all the way down. it's called a press, however The shaft bottoms out before it hits the bottom and thus not able to do any pressing
