Get it.
Are you reading reviews, trying to decide which dashcam to get? You’ve landed on the right one. The decent 1080p video is wide enough it can see everything in front of you. The app is simple and can upload directly. There’s also a OBD USB adapter to connect this to your vehicle for longer coverage, which will keep the camera rolling after you turn off the engine.

Perfect low profile dash cam
I have been searching for the perfect dash cam to protect myself in case of an accident. I have looked high and low for a suitable cam, but all the ones I found seemed to be big and clunky, and I was worried about someone breaking in to my truck just to steal the dash cam. The Garmin Mini Dash cam2 was the perfect size and had all the features I wanted. To start with, this cam is very small and when mounted, you have to really look to see it. It takes outstanding video in Hi-Def, and I paired it with a 128GB Micro SDXC card, so I know I have plenty of space to record. I also installed a Dongar direct connect adaptor, so I plug the power in to the power outlet of my rear-view mirror (yes, I didn't know that was there either). This means you don't have to have an unsightly power cable or the headaches of trying to tuck the cord around the perimeter of the windshield. There isn't a screen on this cam since it is so small, but you can easily pair your Mini Cam2 with your phone via the Garmin app. The video will stun you with the definition and quality of the video.

I helps to have but don’t rely on it
The camera is okay, it could be better doesn’t always capture.

Beware
If I could give you guys zero stars for this product I would especially it being Garmin. Someone hit my truck in the front with their tow hitch. I’m assuming there’s a dent but of course the camera didn’t catch that but it caught everything else when we drive here and there I noticed it only records what it wants basically and good luck if someone hits you in public when you’re out and about the camera doesn’t read the license plate good at all and even when you zoom in do not buy it or waste your money same thing goes for the parking OB sensor you attached to it for parking mode trash don’t spend your money

Compact and Reliable Dash Cam
I’ve purchased this dash cam twice, and it continues to impress me with its performance. The compact design makes it easy to install without obstructing my view, and it captures clear video quality, both during the day and at night. The automatic recording feature is a great convenience, ensuring that I have video evidence in case of incidents. I also appreciate the built-in Wi-Fi, which allows for easy video transfer to my phone for sharing or reviewing. Overall, this dash cam offers exceptional reliability and peace of mind on the road, making it a smart investment for any driver.

Didn't last
Had it just over a year and now it has issues powering on. Previously it started having connection issues. Really a shame I love the size of the camera and I want this to work. Doing factory reset as instructed by Garmin I was able to solve the connectivity issues. Now the power issues have come after a recent update and I may give up on this camera (I have two front and rear). A lot of money out of the window.

Life saver
Definitely been more handy than not, had several instances where people will cut you off and or people around you get hit and you can send the video to the police and insurance companies to help with claims and reports for either you or someone around you who has the unforeseen life randomness of an accident either involving you or those around you.
