17 months later, we still love it 😍
We’ve had this toaster for 17 months now and are really happy with it. We love this toaster for it’s almost silent, even toasting, and the touch controls really do make it easy to wipe down. The countdown feature is helpful, and the sneak peak that it allows while toasting is helpful too.We are gentle with its start lever, and find that just one finger is needed. We use this toaster every day and will absolutely buy another one if this one ever breaks. The low level lights are fine for us - better than having them too bright.

Very happy with this toaster!
No complaints about the toaster. We’ve had it for like 18 months and we use it pretty often since my kids really like bagels. I think it works super well and gets the right amount of toast on there. I have had to increase from 4 to 5 because 4 used to be the perfect toast but now it’s five. Probably just happens as the toaster gets older, or I’ve just started to like crispier food. Either way this is a great toaster

Yes, but.
Works very well, but it is hard to see and reading the 'lighted' panel.

Good choice
Hard to see front info but otherwise works pretty well.

Why do they even have that lever?! Garbo-stupid power range since the first toaster made.
Had this toaster for a year now and here is why it wins:1) looks "vera nice like" (attractive appearance and seems to stay smudge free)2) works great (as decent as any heated-wire type can)3) nice keep warm and defrost features with bagel option too4) affordable compared to a new-tech laser or infrared toaster that might actually be better and work like one would expect in the year 20255) quiet (although i would like a beep notification) and very durable so farThe bad:Why is it that every toaster made in the sub $200 range has ten settings that NEVER make sense?!power 1= warm, power 2= light toast, 3= nice darker toasting that i prefer and then, of course, 4-10 burn the house down and turn everything to volcanic ash!!!!! Stupid engineers. Get A.I. to figure it out or something. It's 2025 so there's no excuse for this "working as intended with no toaster ever using anything above level 3!!! We, as humanity, now have words on fitted sheets, no indoor smoking anywhere, and the s*t*nic daylight savings will be gone soon someday soon too. So there is hope!

Love this toaster!
After more than 16 years, I had to look for a new toaster. I had the Oster 4 slice toaster, and it worked great for years, but unfortunately I accidentally dropped something in the toaster and then it melted in there. At first I was going to just get the same toaster, but wanted to see what else was available. My biggest complaint on my old toaster was uneven toasting. One side would be toasted more and you’d have to flip the bread or whatever you’re toasting and toast it again to get even toasting. So I really wanted something that was more consistent. I researched a lot of toasters and unfortunately there are so many options and so many opinions, it was really hard to choose. But this Oster toasted had the highest percentage of 5 star reviews by a lot and other video reviews showed even toasting so I decided to try it and I’m so glad we did. I just got the two slicer this time instead of the four.- The display light front works great for me whether the lights in the kitchen are on or off. (Took a pic of both for reference). The only time it was a little harder to see is if it’s right underneath our under cabinet lights but even then it wasn’t bad.-We love the countdown feature but sometimes the kids get confused and think they selected the level 6 toasting since the timer starts at the top and I have to remind them that it’s just the timer.-The quick peek and extra 30 sec toasting are also awesome features. I took pics of levels 2,3 and 4 toasting. It toasted evenly on each side. Occasionally I’ll toast it for 30 seconds more. Levels 3-4 are the ideal doneness for us.So far we really love this toaster and hope it works for another 16 years! It looks sleek and modern on the counter.

Perfect toast and bagels
After several days of use, this Oster toaster appears to be a winner! Browns toast evenly over and on both sides of the bread. Bagels are done to perfection. The toaster is sleek and attractive on the countertop. Yes, the display is dim, but it brightens noticeably while the toaster is toasting. Our previous toasters (a Cuisinart and a KitchenAid) were unable to deliver consistently good results. Hoping this one stands the test of time!

Browns Pretty Evenly - Both Sides!
Update: 7/15/25: Still love this toaster. It toasts both sides of bread perfectly. I love how easy it operates and love the illuminated countdown feature and browning setting.first review: purchased mid-Feb. 2025. So far it’s the best out of the last two I’ve purchased. I wouldn’t give a nickel for kitchen aid or cuisanart! This one is easy to operate and browns fairly evenly on both sides. Sorry no pics. Amazon wants too much meta-data and access to all my photos instead of just the two I selected. Very annoying. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase.
