The best string winder I've ever owned, by far!
The best string winder I've ever owned, by far! It's everything they say it is. It makes the cheaper, hard plastic winders look like junk. I wish I would have purchased this a long time ago...better late than never!!With the 2 bearings, it turns extremely smooth. The handle is very comfortable on my hand. The soft plastic/rubber that goes over the key tuners, protects from scratching them. It's very fast & smooth...& I prefer this over powered winders any day. I changed my strings a few days ago...& it worked great! I accidentally dropped it (my fault), onto the hard floor & it didn't harm it at all. Very impressed! I'm using this on my pedal steel guitar.Great company! I plan to purchase there string cutter next. I definitely recommend this item...& this company.

Expensive but worth the extra money
These guys make really great products, and this one is no different. Extremely ergonomic, safe for instrument finishes, effective, and highly functional. Gives just the right amount of resistence and you can tell its a very well thought out product.

Easy to use and better than by hand
Makes changing guitar strings easier and more time-efficient. Doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. and again it saves alot of time compared to turning the tuners by hand.

Used for ukuleles.
Functionality:I have three ukuleles and a banjolele that I wanted new strings on. My wrist does get tired of winding and it takes a while. I read the reviews and chose this one to try. It fits all my instruments, but is a little loose on a couple which causes it to slip off while winding which was annoying. The mechanism works smoothly and it did help the chore go easier and quicker. It feels a bit more substantial than others I've tried.

Good winder
This works well and seems to be have soft pliable surfaces where it might scratch the wood on an instrument. Unlike the cheap one that came and a kid I bought recently, this one doesn't fly apart into different pieces. Happy with my purchase.

Effortless to take off and put on guitar strings
It's like this tool was designed for my hand. I didn't even know I was holding it while I took off old strings and put on my new D'Addario EJ16-3D strings on my six string guitar. The action was incredibly smooth and it held on nicely to the tuning pegs. For my folk style sized guitar, this peg winder had about a 1/4 inch gap between it and the guitar's headstock. It's guaranteed to be a scratch-free experience with that clearance. The only way I can imagine that this tool would get "roughed up" like some photo I saw is if you tied it to your Ford F-150's rear bumper by a rope and dragged it through town. From a mechanical perspective, the mold that was used to form the plastic is top notch. All surfaces are smooth, tightly fit, and have a nice sheen to them. The blue tip is a hard rubber material that doesn't feel rubbery at all. The ball bearings are so friction-free that you can use this as a fidget spinner if you want. It'll spin about 180 degree with one hand warble. The best part is that changing my guitar strings was fast and effortless.

Easy to use, works for classical guitars.
Works as expected. I never really thought that a string winder would make that much difference when changing my strings, but it really makes it much faster.
