Been loving cooking in my carbon steel wok, but cleanup used to be such a pain in the butt. Then I saw one of Kenji's videos showing how easy these bamboo brushes make cleaning (without damaging the seasoning), and they are indeed a game changer! It probably does help that at least a small seasoning layer has built up, but it's literally only a minute or two of gentle scrubbing with the bamboo brush to get all the residue off the wok.So far the brush is holding together, but on the off chance they fall apart too soon, I'll update my review.

I bought this to clean a Wok but realized that they are amazing for cast iron as well. I used them to scrub my cast irons and they last long time. The bristles of course break over time but there are so many that it takes awhile before needs to be replaced. I replaced it after like 6 months of use. Highly recommend. It makes so easy to remove stuck food on pans.

Buyers please heed the breaking apart warnings and reviews. Mine came in today and literally fell apart taking it out of the bag. It seemed like the glue got damaged or not even an attempt to glue it from the manafacturer. There also design flaws looking at it from within because trying to even put the bamboo sticks that fell out back in was impossible.

Useful wok cleaning tool but one must be mindful when cleaning side to side as the bamboo can be brittle.

These bamboo scrub brushes with handles are about as good as good gets, no nicks, no cuts, no scratches, no damage to your hard- and long-earned carbon steel and cast iron pan, pot, and wok cooking surfaces.

the individual bamboo strands are very thin and easily broken, but, collectively, they do a good job cleaning crud from a wokthis is clearly a consumable tool but I've found that its life can be extended by placing a rubber band around the brush strands a couple of inches from the tip

I love these for cleaning my wok, pots, cast iron grills, trays etc. They don’t scratch and really get the work done quickly. These are tightly bound and have a handy cord to hang them for drying. Good value. They’ll last for years.

Used it for he first time cleaning my wok!!!! Omfg!!! My wok has never been this clean before! I normally use a sponge to clean my cast iron and even though there is no soap it still removes a lot of the seasoning. This this brush it is ruff enough to rip food off and not the seasoning! Omg this is wonderful!
