Good quality
Great toy! Well made & great price for the size. It is hard to transform for a young kid. We have to do it for our 4yo but once you do it a few times it’s easy.

Absolutely a great gift idea
We purchased this Tobot for my son's birthday. He loves it so much. It is complex and has many tricks for him to stay busy for ~2 hrs after getting it. The red "key" is very special. It is not for "decoration" but another trick to allow transformation to happen. The quality is also good. It is a little expensive than a regular transformer. But worth the money.

Very complicated to transform
While it seems fairly nice, one piece consistently pops off and has to be reattached. We also had to study the directions for transformation. This was NOT easy and quick for all ages to transform as stated. I had a 6 year old, an advanced 9 year old AND their father (who has always had these types of transformer toys) all attempt this transformation. It required really reading the instructions, which were very detailed, with pictures and really helpful. However, even with lengthy pictured step by step directions, it became more tedious to transform and discarded as not a good toy rather quickly. I foresee it sitting on a shelf collecting dust. It definitely takes more than just a few minutes to transform it. I will say it was well built other than the piece that consistently falls off, and overall feels fairly durable. That my 6 year old hasn't broken it already says a lot, he doesn't know his own strength. He should be a professional durability toy tester.

Kid loves it! Transformation problematic.
My Kid loves it, and it's quite big.The only problem that the transformation from car to robot and vice versa is not that simple, even for grown-ups, at least on the first times. For that cost you would expect a simpler design.

Tobot seem to be well made
I bought four different tobots for my grandson's 5th birthday because he "wanted them all" and he loves them. He spent 5 hours the first day learning the ins and outs and is still spending more time with these than any other toy he received. My son said they seem to be made very well.
