Works as described, cats enjoy it
I was a bit worried that this was going to be a waste of money, but I'm very glad I purchased. My cats were a little confused by it for the first few seconds, but then they were very excited and had a blast with it. However, if your cats are fairly skittish, they may be frightened by this. You really do need a non-carpeted surface for this to work well, and that does mean it can be fairly noisy when bouncing around. I definitely recommend turning it off before you go to sleep. It's also best with some slight supervision, just because it can roll under furniture or get kind of stuck by cables on the floor. It does try to free itself, but sometimes it can roll itself into a really weird spot that it's difficult to get out of.It comes with an attachable bell, but it's basically useless. First, the bell is on a little loop that you have to get around a hook that's under the flap in the ball. I have fairly average sized fingers, but it was nearly impossible to get the loop on the hook in such a tight space. Second, the bell hangs out of the flap once attached, so it is just dangling off the side of the ball by a small loop. Maybe not everyone has as problematic cats as I do, but I am certain that after a while mine would have chewed through the string and gotten the bell off, and it's small enough to be a choking hazard. Finally, the bell just messes up the functionality of the ball because it impairs its motion. The toy is still great, just don't use the bell.

Worth it!
The media could not be loaded. Overall, I'm really glad I bought this. My kitten loves to chase it around and plays with it every day. PROS: it does a good job of rolling around and getting itself unstuck when it gets into a corner. The erratic motion is really intriguing to my cat. It can go pretty fast, which gets him around. It also has a bounce setting, which is better for rugs where the ball can't roll as easily.CONS: because it is made of hard plastic, it is loud on hardwood floors. It also can get lost easily if you have a big home or a lot of items on the floor. It will roll into a spot, get stuck, and if you don't catch it the battery will eventually die. Fortunately it charges quickly so it's not a huge deal. Because it gets stuck, I need to get up every once and awhile to rescue it while my cat is playing, so you can't just let it go for hours while you work. Some great alternatives to letting it roll all over your home are putting it in a cardboard box with holes cut into it or a paper bag, and your cat will be mesmerized watching it rustle around and batting at it.

pretty smart little toy. seems to get itself out of trouble easily.
This thing is pretty neat. Its the size of a golf ball. It will bounce in an attempt to get unstuck which seems to be pretty successful in doing so. I bought this to curb my Cat's laser pointer habit. He wants the laser pointer 24/7. This seems occupy his mind. He does bat it around a little, but mostly likes to sit and watch it move around the floor. The one thing that I wish wouldn't happen is its ability to pick up hair and dirt. Hair will cling to this thing like no other. It is easy to remove, but boy does it get covered with hair. This little ball finds its way into every corner and place that hair would normally accumulate. I would also recommend keeping tabs on it and not letting the battery run all the way down. It might be a while until you find it if you don't pay attention to where it is going. If it gets stuck under furniture you can usually hear it trying to free itself, but if you ignore it and forget where it was, then depending on your environment, you may find yourself looking for it for a while. I would recommend this as a cat toy. Just keep in mind that it does bounce randomly and that may frighten your cat if they are the nervous type. With that in mind I would recommend introducing it to them in a long flat surface that is free of obstacles. If it hits a wall or gets stuck it will try to change directions a few times, then bounce. I would grab it and set it on its way before it bounces to avoid fear in the beginning. Once they get used to it, bouncing will be part of the fun.

Could be better
The Cheerble Ball is a fun and interactive toy that can help keep your cat entertained. It is made of durable materials and is easy to clean. However, there are a few drawbacks to the Cheerble Ball.First, it can be a bit noisy when it bounces. Second, the ball doesn't work well on carpets, so it may not be suitable for all house holds. Third, the ball has a very short battery life. I keep it on at night so my cat has something to do, and it's nice that it has a sleep mode if not played with after a few minutes but even with that it will still die in the middle of the night.Overall, the Cheerble Ball is a fun and interactive toy that is perfect for cats who are looking for a durable and easy-to-clean toy. However, there are a few drawbacks to the ball, such as its noise level and battery life. Here are some pros and cons of the Cheerble Ball:Pros:Durable materialsEasy to cleanCons:Noisy when it bouncesDoesn't work well on carpet/rugsVery short battery lifeOverall, I would give the Cheerble Ball a 3 out of 5 stars. It is a fun and interactive toy, but it does have some drawbacks.
