Jecod DP-2 Programmable Auto Dosing Pump, 2 Channel

This is a very good dozer easy to program and it works great the power lite is very bright so if you don’t have a cabinet it will brighten up your room

Shopping for a dosing pump turned up lots of surprises and this little gem is one of the surprises. Precise dosing - check. Reliable - check. Easy to use - check. If you are looking for a cheap and reliable dosing pump this is it. I use this on my reef aquarium and dose carbon with it and it has been very precise. You will have to go to YouTube to learn how to use and calibrate it as the instructions are a bit lacking in both translation and information. Some of these pumps have the mechanism installed backward which was what my model had. No worries YouTube had the answers and once I corrected the issue it has been flawless. I have had this for several months and it has been working well. Many people have had it for a couple of years and have not had any issues. In my opinion this is one of the surprisingly reliable and good quality dosing pump. It feels a bit cheaply made but it works as advertised.

I had purchased on of these units about 6 months ago & have had very good luck for dosing Alkalinity & Calcium my BioCube 14. I is very stable. I was using BRS 1.1ml pumps on my 20 gallon long & it was time to change them out for a more compact unit.The second unit I purchased is up & running well & I have had no problems with either unit. They are very quiet. The only downside is that they are a little tedious to program but once you are done it is easy to change & modify the program.NOTE: The is an error in the instructions for the "Interval Days". You will need to select "0" for everyday NOT "1" as stated in the instruction booklet. (Videos are available on YouTube & Correct Instructions can be found in the Internet)would be a 5 star except the programming & Instruction issue.

First order came promptly. I like the functionality. Able to program to to 24 doses a day at different times, at intervals of 1 to 30 days between doses. Unfortunately, the pump did not deliver a dose at the programmed time. If I set the time of the dose a few minutes before the internal clock time, it delivered the programmed dose. The next day it failed. This happened repeatedly. I returned the pump and got a replacement in a few days. On three test days it failed on two of the days to deliver. It was programmed to deliver 100 ml at 8 AM, once a day, every day. I requested a return and it was granted. I plan to use a pump like this dose hydrogen peroxide to my two nutrient reservoirs in my hydroponic garden. Reliability is very important.

This doser is very inexpensive and I have no idea how long it will last. I am using it to dose 2 part into a 70 gallon aquarium. It is programmable with multiple doses per day and you can program how much and how many times per day. Great to spread out the sodium carbonate and calcium chloride. The directions are a bit wonky with 0 being daily and 1 being every other day..... Besides that it is menu driven and easy to use and cheap.

Price not bad, but programming is awful!

It works perfectly. So far its been about 3 months and it is still spot on and so are my parameters. I started out dosing 5ml of each 2 part and slowly raised it to the needs of my coral and have now landed on 10ml of each 2 part b-ionic calcium and alkalinity in my 25 gallon lagoon. The only bad thing is that now I am used to a doser for the 2 part that I was able to move on to dose other products. Now I am at the point I wish I bought the dp4 in the first place. I would only buy this one if you are adding to the dp4 and you are sure you took care of all your extra dosing needs.

Solid 3 stars. Gets the job done and is pretty easy to use. One of the two pump heads did not work but I only really needed one anyway. Even after calibrating it was still about 1ml off, which is pretty substantial. Just something to be aware of
