The terms are easy to understand as are the exercises. Simple. Step-by-step. Written by an experienced Pro and work is proving out in the field.

Great information for me as a professional dog trainer. But it needs to be broke down a little more for my new trainers.

I've read a few books on scent detection and how to go through the imprinting process and while they were helpful none matched to this. I love the step by step process from the absolute beginning of choosing rewards (love the info on how to let the dog show you what's high value to them), charging the clicker, and so on. Each step is explained thoroughly and love the videos online that go along with each lesson. 1000x recommend this book for anyone interested in doing scent work for any reason (medical alert scent detection is what I'm using this guide for) or even anyone who's interested in training as it has tons of great advice I've used outside of the imprinting process

Heard of this author on a podcast and got the book. My dog is taking longer than the boo suggests to get these concepts but I expected that. The book is really great and many of the steps have QR codes that take you to YouTube videos of exactly what is described. Very helpful!!

This is a great book. You need to be patient and go in knowing that it could take longer than the 15 days. And the author is amazing and provided guidance and support for the entire time of training my dog! A+ !
