(Pause)Clean Ingredients.I've tried a couple of Shea Butter before this one but the one I liked (Shall Remain Nameless) was no longer available. This was my 2nd buy, and this is good. Shea Butter has a strong smell but this one wasn't too overpower type of strong to the point i'll feel insecure wearing it outside because I lowkey stink.

Like other reviewers, I found it grainy. I scooped out the shea butter from the plastic jar it comes in and put it into a glass dish to microwave it. Just a couple minutes until it all melted. The tiny grains also melted. I added some almond extract and vanilla extract to make it smell better, then poured the liquid back into the plastic jar it came in. As it cooled, it firmed up again. Worked perfectly - no more grains! Am buying a second jar.

First order came dark gray, grainy, and a bad smell. I thought I just got a bad batch so I asked for a replacement. Just got the replacement and it’s not grainy, but it’s a very dark gray color and I scooped it out of the jar to examine, and there is a bunch of debris at in the product! I use shea butter for skin care, and it’s frustrating that this product comes unusable. Very disappointed.

Excellent quality

I've ordered this numerous times and never had an issue. Last time I was running low I preemptively ordered more so I had it when needed. I just now opened it to use for chopsticks for stocking for Christmas and the lid wasn't sealed correctly and it is covered in mold. Huge disappointment and I am past the return window as I ordered a few months ago. Now I recommend opening as soon as you receive to at least make sure the seal isn't broken. Now I know. Huge waste of this container though.
