It works
I like that it fitted and replaced the old one. I did not like that the lever that goes into the tap head was sticky. I don't know if this is by design or what happens when old rubber / silicone goes sticky.

No More leaks
I purchased this product as my bathroom basin mixer tap was leaking which also happened about 5 years ago and it was the same issue that the ceramic valve had worn in the tap itself. I took my old one out measure it and found the brand and when I searched on amazon the branded Valve was price at £20. I searched just the valve as I had the dimensions and this one came up so purchased it. Very easy to install and it is actually very smooth operating on the twists and lifts of the handle. So the valve was only 1/3 of the proce of the branded one and does the same job. Let's see how long it last though. As the branded one lasted 5-6 years before needed replacing.

Works well, the tap lever moves freely without and noises, and no drips
I am really pleased and have ordered a spare. Mine works very well and I have had no issues. In my opinion, it's very good value for money. The main issue I had was getting the old one out of the tap body , as the limescale residue was substantial and it was well and truly stuck in. Firstly I pulled on the top part with pliers, which then snapped off. I managed to get a pair of grips on the second part, and that snapped off too. I then spent some time wondering how I was going to remove the bottom part, and I came up with the idea of sticking a strong Allen key through one of the holes and levering it upwards. Thankfully that worked.I cleaned the tap body out thoroughly, and then put a generous amount of silicone grease on the bottom and sides of the new one, so hopefully if I need to do it again, the used one will come out much more easily.

Be aware of seals
Make sure you get 1 with the black rubber seal in the same place. My original had seal at the top , this one has it at the bottom so leaks out over the handle
