Handles two large dogs easily
I have 2 German Shepherds one is 120 pounds and the other is 90 pounds. I bought this ramp because one of my GSDs completely tore her interior ligament in one of her hind legs and had to have surgery to repair it. This ramp will save wear and tear on the leg by preventing her from jumping in and out of the truck. My other GSD is getting up in age and she is not as nimble as she used to be. I chose this ramp over the stair ones I have seen because it looked sturdier and would handle the weight better over the stair ones. Besides the stair ones just looked cheap and would not hold up to these two. I gave it several weeks of use before leaving a review and I am very pleased at how well it holds up to the two of them getting in and out of the truck. Its not heavy and easy to put up. It does take up some space on the rear cabs floor. It took my two GSDs a few times to figure it out and now its standard practice with them. There was another reviewer on here that suggested putting carpet pads down over the grip tape and I see why. The dogs dig their nails into the grip tape which is causing it to get all scratched up and soon there wont be any grip left. I plan on taking that reviewers suggestion and adhere carpet pads down for my girls. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.

Highly recommend this ramp
I bought this for my elderly arthritic 71 pound Dogo Argintino. She's 13 now and has a tough time getting around. I can't lift her so getting a ramp became necessary. After shopping around quite awhile, I had to return several tries because my girl didn't trust the "give" in them as she tried to walk on them. Then I got this one. What a difference! I was impressed with how well made this ramp is. Very Sturdy - there was no give as she walked on it. The ramp surface has a non slip surface that does not irritate paw pads. It is convenient & easy for me to handle & store during & after use. It opens & closes like a telescope, sliding with ease & has a snap flap at one end to keep it closed when not in use. When closed for transport & storage it is half its fully extended length. I appreciated the way it didn't "fold" open & closed which would have required more area and effort handling. It weights 13 pounds and supports up to 400 pounds!I've been using this ramp for 8 months and have zero complaints.I've always been more of a practical person but as I am getting up there in age, I prefer functionality over aesthetics even more. When I find something is super functional and attractive I am impressed! This ramp fills the bill on both counts.I was also pleased with this company because they have a video on how to introduce a reluctant dog to use the ramp. Their training tips were very effective and didn't take long to get results. Within two or three training sessions I had her using the ramp.As of July 15th 2023 they are offering it for $10 less than I paid for it. You should seriously consider giving this ramp a chance. It's worth every penny IMO.

Good ramp, solidly built
This ramp is so light, easy to handle and convenient. I can telescope it out of my car with one hand, while I hold the leash with the other. It’s very sturdy and supports my 110 lb dog with no issue. My only complaint is the traction. Although it has a gritty surface my dog still slides a bit going into my Honda CRV, and it’s not that steep. It could use a few raised areas of texture to help with traction. Easy enough to add myself but it would be a design improvement if the manufacturer considered that. Overall, it is a great ramp and I’m happy with it.

Great Product
My dachshund is thirteen and getting up and down the stairs in front of my home became too much for her. This ramp has given her back the independence she loves and allows her to run up and down at will! It's sturdy but lightweight, I can move it quickly if necessary and but I have complete confidence it letting my dog run up and down with no problems. I also slides together for easy storage if necessary.

My Golden Retriever got used to it quickly to up/down to cars. A good buy but a few design flaws.
After knee surgery on both hind legs, my 14 years old Golden Retriever started showing difficulty hopping on/off to/from my Toyota RAV4. So, got this ramp. It is long enough to make a gentle slope for my dog. I take him to a park every day. It only took a couple of days for him to get used to doing it. It's a sturdy and good product. I have been using it for a few weeks and noticed three problems. (1) Sliding the ramp to expand to its maximum 72" length, there's no locking mechanism. So it can easily 'shrink' to a shorter length. When it is folded to half of its size for carrying, there is a hook (button) to secure the ramp. But no such thing when it is in maximum extension. It's sometimes annoying. (2) An extendable portion of the ramp has a rough edges. Although there were plastic pieces to cover them, they quickly fell off after a couple of use. As a result, it damaged (scratched) the door/interior of my SUV. (3) The surface of the ramp has a sandpaper-like finish. Luckily my dog seems not to bother walking on it. But I scraped my hand badly. Perhaps One needs gloves when I operate this ramp. I hope future models will address these problems.

Great ramp, needs a better surface
I did a lot of research before purchasing this ramp. I bought it used from Amazon with the intent of modifying it. After reading another costumer’s review, I bought indoor/outdoor carpeting from Home Depot along with glue spray to cover the original sand-paper like surface that originally came with it. My dog slid a lot on the way up with the original surface, but after buying the cheap carpeting, it works amazing! He is able to get in and out of the car, no problem! Would highly recommend as long as you’re willing to invest $30 or so more bucks to improve it some.
