This fits fine. No clearance or gap issues
I dont know what everyone was saying about the size issues. I had no problems fixing my MAX G30LP

Segway really needs to fix this issue but in the meantime this will keep you going
This actually came with the inner piece which I wasnt expecting. It included both screw sizes and the little nut. This is a great replacement but I still question the idea of such an important piece being made of plastic instead of metal.

Gets the job done
This doesn't have the same "snap" into place as the original, but it stays in place well enough and hasn't had any issues with 100+ miles of commuting on bumpy roads.

Don’t bother with this
I know that the Ninebots are not the easiest things to work on, but this little part takes the cake. It’s garbage and not the OEM material. The fact that the screw doesn’t fit didn’t scare me off, but it should have. This thing is just not designed properly and is too flimsy and the hard slick plastic pretty much stops it from doing the job of keeping the handlebar locked in place. Keep looking. Do not waste the $10 on this.

Screw holes not big enough
Used this item to successfully replace my broken stock Segway Ninebot Max guard ring. Two points to note: there is a metal nut that needs to be slid into place on the lock piece before you install it on the collar guard so the screw has something to grab onto.Second point is that the screw holes on the lock piece are not big enough to accommodate the small screw used to keep it in place. Luckily, it's just plastic and you can ream out bigger openings progressively using small hex wrenches. Once I reamed larger screw holes, everything assembled properly.

Almost like oem
Work great, just like others saying, you need to make the screw hole a little bigger.
