Very nice looking lens. Still room for improvement. Flawless customer support.
Packaging came very nice, well made. Material quality of the lens seems very good, feels sturdy and made to last. Lens is lightweight still, mostly because of it's size. It looks very nice on the outside, paint seems it is going to last, the printed letters are very clear. What to expect: the front thread of the lens, on the product images it seems bigger so that a filter could be attached but that was not the case with what I got. Front thread is small, I don't think it can hold a filter. Filter thread seems to be 28mm, 27mm won't do it is smaller than the thread. The aperture, due to it's tiny size this lens has only 3 aperture blades wich will result in an odd triangular shape for the highlights on the bokeh of the photos or videos.C mount lenses feel like tiny manual DSLR lenses but this lens is more like an M12 lens enclosed in a nice metal body so that you can focus at multiple distances and have a variable aperture.Like stated in the product description this is a CS mount lens BUT it is not a CS lens. Back focal length of this lens is 7.53mm, 5mm shorter than a CS lens. On a CS mount camera this lens won't focus at all. There is no actual focus ring. What seems to be the focus ring is really one piece with the lens mount so focus is like an M12 lens you screw an unscrew half the lens to focus (lens mount is like the lens base) and in some cases the aperture moves along as you screw or unscrew the lens. For properly setting the aperture you must grab the lens by the front and then move the aperture ring. After all this is a small lightweight $22 dollar lens, expecting more from this lens would be out of line.Room for improvement: aperture blades are dark silver (metal blades) I believe this should have been painted black to avoid internal flare in the lens. Front element is flat, seems more like a filter to stop dust from reaching the inside of the lens, the real issue is that it grabs dust very easily and it is hard to clean. The deal breaker: quality control. The lens I got has dust on the inside and some bigger paint chips that will surely show up in the recorded image. One big chip right at center of the lens and two more near the borders. Dust on small sensors show up really bad (what will a big chip of paint would look like?).I raised my overall rating from 1 star to 4 because seller contacted me fast, very kindly and gave me a full refund to quickly solve my situation. I left it at 4 stars beacuse I'm still not able to test image quality. But If you also end up with a non ideal unit have no doubt that seller will solve the issue fast.

Ok lens for the money with flaws
First off, the lens does work. You will need to remove the adapter on the camera to achieve focus. Then loosen the back focus screw on the camera and rotate it out about an eighth of an inch, and retighten the back focus screw. Screw the lens on and you will be able to focus just fine. When the lens is wide open, or stopped down about half way the image is pretty good. If you stop the lens down more, then the imperfections of the lens show up. The dust, bubbles and a small chip in the lens stand out making shooting in very bright light impossible. This lens is good for indoor and shade. There are much better lenses available in the used camera market for the same price. Get them.

no way to focus?
Bought this for a Pi 4B running Octoprint. There is a manual focus ring, but it does not actually do anything that I can tell. Aperture ring does work. Didn't come with instructions, can't find instructions. How do you focus this thing? Returning for a refund.

Low cost option for Raspberry Pi HQ camera
It's an ok pairing with the Raspberry Pi HQ camera. It's very low cost for a variable CCTV lens. The photo quality was definitely reflected by the low cost. It's been good for my application to use on a cheap project with the Raspberry Pi HQ camera.
