Small, fast, and super useful
I use this laptop for word processing and web browsing, and it does everything I need it to with ease and speed. It's very responsive, boots up quickly, and the matte screen is easy to read no matter the lighting. The keyboard is easy to type on with good resistance, and I've even started to use the little Trackpoint mouse pointer in the middle of the keyboard sometimes while typing. I bought the computer refurbished and have had no complaints, it works great!

Loved it
Works great runs Minecraft with mods great! Battery like is awesome on the web but if you try to run Roblox or Minecraft it eats up the battery so I charge and play. Only complaint is that one of the usb ports did not work but it was refurbished not everything is perfect and a great upside and annoyance is it has touchscreen and my brother points and clicks something random by accident. Really worth what I paid for it!

this is not a refurb, this is e-waste
I received a unit which was physically not bad looking, but had a bad power management unit, a battery which had long since checked out, and a power supply with a loose usb-c ground end. It's just a really jank situation, not a functioning computer. If you feel like repairing something that you took out of the trash, sure, but don't be fooled, you aren't paying to have it delivered to you in even remotely working condition here!

Is it really a X280?
The media could not be loaded. I didn't noticed this when I got my laptop and it's not eligible for a return or trade but, why is this x280 different from all the other x280 laptops. It's missing something. I noticed there was a black tape on the laptop next to the trackpad.

Decent so far but...
Just received the laptop and everything seems to be working correctly so far. However, the laptop is described as "Refurbished - Excellent". Well, the surface of the lid seemed brand new initially but the keys and trackpad exhibit signs of heavy use with all the textured surfaces worn down and shiny. So I went back to the lid and discovered that there is a sticker covering the entire top of the lid cut (nearly) precisely to represent the texture of a laptop that has experienced minimal use! Hmm, that's a little sneaky and not entirely honest.I've included pictures where you can see where the keys, touchpad, and palm rest have had their texture worn away and appear "shiny" as a result. Also the edges of the "sticker" where it's been cut to fit over the ThinkPad logo and line up with the edges of the laptop.I've only had it a few hors so far but will re-review after some time to keep potential buyers updated on the condition of it's capability. In conclusion I'd have to say that if this product works reliably and as intended I can't say it's a bad purchase. It's a great price for it's specs and nothing appears broken or damaged, structurally. I do feel, though, that it isn't accurate or honest to represent it's condition as "excellent" when exhibiting this amount of use/wear. But time will tell if the internals hold up to sustained use.
