Feels INCREDIBLE
INSTALLATION HELP - READ: Feels INCREDIBLE! The installation, not so much. If you only have one faucet handle like most people, you need to purchase a double connect push button or lever turn 2 way diverter valve. Get the one where you can attach the shower head to the straight piece and then attach the handheld shower hose to the valve with the other angled (90 degree) valve on the right side and that you can adjust by moving it back and forth. It costs like $20-$25; otherwise both will come on at the same time and there is no pause button, so you have no way to control which one is on or off. If you bought the combo that has the hose, you can use that. We found it to look horrible so we bought an all metal 92” hose. The handheld shower mount is just plastic that looks nice. It is not metal. Make sure you take off the nice looking front. The little top pops off and you push the plastic mounting plate outward. Try not to scratch the front piece. Make sure you use a LEVEL when you draw the mounting holes after you have measured between the tile to figure out where it will look the best. We put tape and then traced around the entire bracket to figure what it would look like before we marked the holes and made it level. When you drill the mounting holes, make sure there is a piece of masking tape to minimize the potential of cracking the tile and measure and re-measure and re-level the mounting spot before you mark the holes, otherwise it won’t line up and won’t be level! As you drill, go slower through the front. Keep the drill hole area wet so it won’t get too hot when drilling. You will know when the bit does by the smoke/scent! Make SURE you are using a bit specifically for tile before you even get ready to drill and get the right size! Don’t use the anchors it comes with as they are crap. Get better ones. We found the screws to be be too long so we opted to get a just slightly shorter screws, plus we were afraid of screwing into a water line. As you are putting the anchors in, use white plumbing adhesive silicone in the holes before you insert the anchors to minimize potential for water to get in and use a couple beads of silicone on the back of the mounting plate. You don’t need to get big tube, just get the little size. You may want to put a couple of beads on the mounting plate (the silicone is adhesive and will attach to both pieces fine). Push the plate down firmly but carefully where the anchors are to line everything up and screw it in. You may have to tweak it a bit to get it to fit. Make sure it’s solidly on and then put a little silicone on around it and then put the front piece and cap on, then use silicone generously around the entire mount to waterproof it. The silicone gets messy so have several pairs of plastic gloves handy! Kind of let some cure just a bit so you can clean the other silicone around where it looks good and make sure it’s a little thick around it like the other stuff you see in the bathroom. It needs to cure for like almost a whole day, so you will want to keep a really big piece of plastic taped far away from the mount piece Don’t put anything on or near the mount while the silicone is curing. The directions it comes with are not great at all so I hope this helps someone and keeps their stuff from getting wet!

Great shower head
I like that I only have to push a button to change the spray.

Great shower head
Another quality product from Hansgrohe. Have installed an prior version of this showerhead which continue to work well. This product has the same quality construct and appearance, is lighter, easier to use, and has more features (3 modes vs 2 on prior). Even smaller details, as ease of hose rotation at base of showerhead), has been improved. Though not 'inexpensive', would highly recommend.

Not the quality you would expect from Hansgrohe
In a previous home we had all Hansgrohe bathroom fixtures and they were wonderful. I have moved and am replacing fixtures. This is NOT the same quality that I purchased 6 years ago. The head is made of plastic and the hose is also plastic. In my opinion it is not worth the price. I’m returning the 2 I got for Delta shower heads.
