Works well
I have two of these. I have an HF Radio and a 2 meter radio on both of them, Display is easy to see and it functions well.

Worked perfectly at first
The media could not be loaded. It worked perfectly at first then the HF side began to only read approximately 4 watts and below. Higher wattage and the screen blanks. I thought possibly I had a bad power supply so I bought a new one setting me back even more. I don’t have room to keep boxes so when it worked good at first I tossed the box. I am going to go find another meter. The shipping speed on these is also pretty slow but that was known up front. I don’t recommend this meter.

Good but could be better
Overall this unit seems to work fine, having tried it on 2 different Yaesu mobile radios in the 2M band. The +/- error is claimed at 5%, so my SWR readings came in will within a good range. The readings also stay on the display for a few seconds, giving you time to read them all, since there is no way to record.hold readings. The directions don't make it clear which plugs on the back to use. The good news is that there is an unambiguous sticker there to show you.The thing I like least is that they give you a wired plug ONLY to power this, you are left on your own from there. The power supply needed is variously claimed to be 12v or 13.8v. They are probably both within the safe range. The power plug port is clearly marked as Positive Center. But they don't tell you anywhere how many amps the power supply should provide. This is very basic information that they really should be giving, so -1 Star right there.I did find on another listing here on Amazon for a different brand of this meter where a person said they used a 500mA power supply and it seemed to work well. I dug through my box of extra power supplies and found one that fit well and provides up to 1.5A, so I have been using it, also successfully... Also FWIW, some other listings include an AC adapter, not just a wired plug, so minus another star there.Lastly, I had a laugh at the ordinary box that the meter came in, because it's described on the box itself as a "Packing gift box." This was just silly, and a bit annoying after some of the basics (info and/or AC adapter) were missing. The important things is that the meter seems to work as it should. But for $155 they could certainly do a better job covering the basics.

Great for an approximation
I purchased a 2M amplifier and wanted to ensure I was staying within operating limits so I thought this would be a great way to handle my HF and VHF needs. I've even used it to diagnose some issues I was having when transmitting on 70cm.The screen is well lit for my needs and the text legible, however, the it reacts quite slowly to stimulus and tends to bounce around. While I understand that on SSB the power is not constant, this gauge makes me wonder if a needle style gauge would have been easier to consume the output.Overall, it does the job I need it to I just wish it was more responsive.
