CRAFTSMAN Drive Socket Set for Mechanics, 61-Piece (CMMT45061)

Back when I use to work as a mechanic I used Snap-On and of course you can’t beat the quality. Even still that doesn’t necessarily mean other familiar tool brands like Mac, Matco, Craftsmen, etc we’re bad. I used tools that worked best for me.For general use at home you can’t beat this set for the price. You get your basic socket set in both metric and SAE and a solid 3/8 ratchet and some extensions. I would’ve like a flex head on the ratchet but you can’t get picky at this price. If you don’t have a basic socket set around the house or garage this is a great set to get you started for basic work. Highly recommended.

I only buy Craftsmen and these are a perfect replacement of the ones I had stolen. Good quality and low price.

Great kit to have around and especially for 40 bucks on sale! The quality is good but not great like the old craftsman used to be but there not cheap feeling. Can't go wrong buy it and you be happy you did. It's a great loaner set for a buddy if you don't want to give them your nicer and more expensive set to borrow. It's also complete and compact enough to go in the back of your car as an emergency kit to have on hand just in case. That's where mine is now..

Not the quality of the craftmans I had back in the 80s,but for the price they will probably work.

I’ve been a hardy supporter of Craftsman tools for their quality and versatility for over 50 years and this kit is no exception. All sockets, screw tips and ratchets fit securely in the case and do not come loose when opening up the case. I bought this to take with me in my Highlander suv and it fits easily in the rear “hidden” compartment. Must have travel tool kit in everyone’s car, truck or suv.
