Double Burner Gas Propane Forge Furnace Blacksmith Knife making Farriers

I’ve made some knives using this forge and I have to say I like it. Easy for me to assemble and use, comes up to a nice and high temperature fairly quickly. A few negatives being the included regulator is pretty terrible and it does not include nearly enough refractory cement to cover the insulation. Overall, I like it.

The media could not be loaded. Like the burner setup and decent quality for the price. The regulator however doesn’t work and I will have to find a replacement. Additionally, it would be nice if it had door on one side to close, but not a big deal as I can weld one up. Overall a good product for the price. Just plan some extra time for setup and refractory application, as with all forges.

Bought this for a project, but starting to use it almost weekly now. Easy to assemble, easy to use. Little light on the provided refractory cement, but functional. Now that I have it, want a bigger one! Starting to make mods for a set of "doors" and a stand.

I went ahead and added fire brick before I tried it and it did great! Metal heats up quick and you can run both to preheat forge then cut the second one off while hammering then turn it back on for heat treatment,awesome!!!

Great forge! Easy to assemble. Note that the regulator fitting adapters to the inner threadsof a bbq propane tank. Reverse thread. Heats up 1/2" mild steel within minutes. So far so good.After about 10hrs use, the welds begin to reveal the truth. I may be my worst critic but a 32 yr vet as a fabricator. I would have fully welded the ends. Luckily, I have three equipment to do so. Since the paint has partially burned off, you can see EVERYTHING. This wouldn't have left my shop this way. Other than that.... the burners and rest of equipment are fine. The box itself could have been better and made with more pride. Paint can't hide equipment that heats up like this.

Received my forge. I put it together. The instructions were written by someone who lacked some English language skills, so I had to contact the vender two times. I also had to contact someone who owns a forge. Finally got it going and it works great. One hint is that with both burners it works better with a 40# propane tank, rather than the standard 20#. very pleased.

Overall, satisfied with Forge. Heats up quickly. Hold temperature well.The only issue we have come across so far. Is that the ports on the burner end was not machined/ drilled through, completely. Not all but the depth/ completion of hole were various & needed to be drilled out. After clearing them out. Regulator was set lower than before holes were cleared.

It does everything you want it to, and it's pretty easy on propane. After probably 10 hours of forging, I still have gas in my tank. There are better forged out there, but at this price you'll be hard pressed to do better.
