Such a great help for anyone with mobility issues.
We bought this for my father in law who had a stroke. It has made all the difference in helping him get around. It been such a help in moving him from his bed to another location. He feels very secure on it. The only thing for him is he is needing a little more padding on the sliding panels that come together as a seat, so its more comfortable for him to use it as a kneeling cart, rather than sitting. But both of my in-laws are absolutely loving the assistance this offers them in his home care.

Home solution for transfers of a disabled person
My wife weak recovering from septic shock was difficult for me to transfer using squat pivot or other techniques. The rehab hospital used Sara Stedy and recommended that I use one at home. It has worked quite well for transfers and is easy on my 80 year old back. The patient must be able to (almost) stand for at least a few seconds while you place the seat under. Hopefully all you need to do is 'guide her' to stand. You may also have to guide her to sit at the destination. The downside is of course the price. You still need to use different transfer techniques at external places like dentists. Rugs can be a problem. The resale market may be limited.

Excellent quality product but delivery was a problem
We purchased this stand assist for my wife who has MS and is unable to walk. The device allows her to remain at home and not in a nursing home. The Sara Stedy is easy to use and appears to be well made.My only issue has been with delivery. We ordered the device on the 3rd of the month and were told by Amazon to expect delivery between the 9th to the 14th. We were told the delivery would not be by Amazon but the tracking number provided by Amazon to track the delivery was wrong. We finally received the device on the 17th. But not before we had to rent a device for $125 so my wife could come home from the hospital. The product is everything advertised. The tracking and delivery leaves something to be desired.

Love it
More expensive then the others that don’t open up around the wheel chair and many other places we transfer to. Perfect to practice standing. I would pay the extra. My most helpful equipment I’ve bought to care for my husband . And I’ve bought a lot.

Awesome company/Awesome product
I purchased this Sara Stedy for my 93 year old mother. We were only able to use it a few times but when we did it was a God send. It made my life as a care giver so much easier. After my mothers passing I needed to return the Sara Stedy to Med Mart. They were a delight to work with and handled the return in a professional manner. I would highly recommend Med Mart to everyone. Thank you Med Mart for taking the stress out of a already stressful time in my life.

Lifesaver!
Easy to use. Expensive but worth it for anyone with mobility issues. Easy to operate and very sturdy.

Incorrect size
I did not received the correct size and it is difficult to move an adult with the "Child Like" one I got.

Lifesaver
If we did not have this device, I would be in a nursing home because my husband would not be able to move me around as I am in the process of getting my legs back to working properly. Thank you!
