Draper 31cc BrushcutterIt arrived on time. The package and contents were undamaged. Regardless of a number of adverse reviews regarding UPS, this was a big heavy box and very difficult to handle. The fact that it arrived in perfect condition speaks for itself. Thank you UPS and Delivery Drivers.I had to use a sack barrow to shift it in to the workshop. It was a nightmare to assemble and the instruction manual was useless.I hope it is eventually going to be worth the effort.OptimisticallyEwan MacDonald30/07/2024Today I finished assembling the Draper brushcutter and got it ready to go to work, expecting moreirritation. The very reverse happened. It started immediately at the first attempt and was tried out on some dense vegetation and brambles. It performed extremely well in every respect, couldn't fault it.After that carried on and ran it reasonaly hard for 7 hours, with no problems.

I am very pleased with the performance of this strimmer. However, it is a little heavy and the shoulder strap is like a Chinese puzzel.

No mixing of oil and petrol. Dead easy to start and operate and very economical to run. Much quieter than expected. Eye protection is a must! Ploughed through my very long grass with ease. My only dislike is the supplied harness. Too complicated when a shoulder strap would have done fine.All in all, a very good buy!!

DO NOT BUY LASTED ONE CUT, s capped in half and the safety bracket and handle fell off. Moderate use only BUT YOU CANT RETURN IT!!!

Very durable and quiet, but powerful and effective when used with the available assessories!!!

The strimmer is good but the cord head is ABSOLUTELY USELESS. It's filled with rubbish cord and good luck replacing it it is IMPOSSIBLE to refill it. It's doesnt feed properly anyway

Very capable grass trimmer and brush cutter. Decided upon this one as it's a 4-stroke engine (as opposed to the old 2-stroke petrol model that had 'given up the ghost'). 4 Stroke engines are supposed to be easier to start on these strimmers. I have found it's a bit hit and miss with this, although it always does start - just perhaps not as easily as might be expected. Very efficient cutting along with decent noise levels (my old 2-stroke was VERY noisy!) but, and the big BUT, is that even with the supplied harness, the unit is pretty heavy and quite unwieldy to manipulate. Overall, a decent machine, but I probably should have gone for a smaller model.
