A Solid Fire Extinguisher Mount
I recently bought a First Alert Marine Fire Extinguisher FE1A10GR (on Amazon) as a replacement on my RV. I really like the capability of this unit; however, the included plastic mounting strap was "under-whelming" and utilized a "push tab to release" method vs. a "pull tab" to release the fire extinguisher from its mount -- which is used on two other fire extinguishers on the RV. To avoid confusion in a panic to release the fire extinguisher, I purchased this First Alert mounting bracket which - as listed - fits their Marine extinguisher perfectly. It provides a solid mount and good restraint which is needed when driving over bumpy highways. The "flip to release" locking steel band gives both excellent restraint AND instant access to the fire extinguisher. If you need a solid mounting bracket for a listed fire extinguisher, this one works well. Fire safety is always a top priority.

Strong Mount!
We've had this mount on the wall for a little under half a year now, and it's held strong the entire time. I do agree that it's hard to figure out the strap at first, as it's very springy metal and the edges are a bit sharp (though I did not get cut!) Once the extinguisher is secured, though, it's not going anywhere until you release it. The grip is quite strong, and it gets easier to redo the clamp the more you use it.It's very important to make sure it's rated for your extinguisher, though, and that you get the right screws (and anchors) for your wall. Luckily, I got the right one and didn't have to return it, but my main struggle was getting screws that could support the extinguisher's weight into the wall.

Five Star product with minor Issues to be aware of for successful installation
Seems solid and effective - but - three important things. 1) Make sure it fits your exact model of extinguisher as the metal retaining strap is a tight fit. 2) It does not come with the two mounting screws (but that is clearly indicated). 3) As silly as it sounds, I had a difficult time figuring out how the two ends of the metal straps stayed connected. There were no instructions or illustrations, and I couldn't figure it out. I FINALLY figured out how the clips stay together when I was on the phone with First Alert customer service. Also worth mentioning that the First Alert customer service was extemely good, extremely helpful, and had surprisingly sophisticated tools to help me troubleshoot the issue. Without those minor issues, it would be a 5 star review.

Very Sturdy
I purchased this bracket to mount a fire extinguisher on my UTV. It is steel and stainless steel construction and is built to last. The bracket was easily mounted to my roll cage by drilling a couple of holes and fastening it with stainless steel screws. It won’t be coming off and the extinguisher is secure and easy to get to in an emergency.

And you're supposed to mount it with ... ?
For $14 they couldn't provide the hardware (screws, anchors) for mounting? I mean, c'mon. The hanging bracket that came with the First Alert extinguisher I want to hang was cheap and didn't include the mounting hardware either, but when you pay an extra $14 for a bracket, I really think they owe it to you to provide the materials for mounting. Silly.

Does not match the product pictured in the description
See my pictures. This bracket is not what the description image shows. The description image has two mounting holes which run vertically at the center point of the bracket. These holes do not exist on the bracket sent. Also, note the difference in the placement of the strap on the bracket which is different. It's just a different design altogether. Box contents match the image on the box received, and it does say it is Bracket2, but my guess is the bracket was redesigned. It's just not at all what is pictured in the description, so don't count on that when you are looking at this bracket for a very specific application or placement. It is more like Bracket5. Also the fitment at the collar of the bracket to the neck of the extinguisher is not good. It's loose and does not line up well. One would have to bend the bracket to make it fit. And it doesn't seem to me that a bracket which easily bends is such a great idea. Maybe it relies on the extinguisher itself when strapped to it for a certain amount of rigidity, but I didn't like that. I ended up getting a Kidde Model MB15R instead (Kidde part number 420118) at a local marine/boating supplies shop.
