I have been collecting the studio oh! Deconstructed notebooks for seven years, and LOVE this floral design. I waited a whole year until I could find the perfect design, I just wasn't really into most of the recent releases with the text on the cover. Love the canvas texture of the cover, how they lay flat, love the quality and smooth texture of the pages. The lines are the perfect size for my handwriting that tends to be on the larger size, and allows you to use a thicker pen or marker to write if you want. There is some bleeding with felt-tip writing utensils, ball point and gel pens work the best. The binding is not the strongest, there is a weakpoint where the cover connects on both the front and the back. If I close the book with the pen still inside, it puts way too much pressure and causes the cover to start to slowly detach from lining paper inside. I give 5 stars because I just absolutely LOVE these notes books, despite this one flaw, and have for years, they are the perfect size, lay flat like no other notebook I have seen, and collecting them has been so fun over the years (I have the clock, paris, owl, unicorn, tree, and now pink floral) :)

I bought one of the smaller versions of these notebooks a while ago, and it was one of my favorite notebooks while it lasted, though its just about run out of pages. I figured since I liked that one so much, I'd get another pocket sized one, and also a slightly larger one just for variation (plus the cover on this is real cute.) Honestly, the fact that it A) has a nice firm cover and B) will lay flat without constantly flipping such is such a pro that it immediately blows all my other notebooks out of the water. Not having to worry about wrangling my notebook every time I write in it makes writing so much less tedious and genuinely fun. Also, might I add that the canvas cover is just so satisfying to touch? Really a pleasure to hold.Honestly, this would be THE perfect notebook if it had a book mark ribbon or an elastic to keep it shut (I tend to just shove my notebooks in my bag and then inevitably throw something on top of them that bends their pages if they don't have something keeping them shut) but I intend to add those things to this one as a little diy, and even with the extra effort, this notebook is still absolutely worth it. Love it

I really love writing in this journal; however, I use it primarily to take notes in all my college courses. The journal itself lays flat when opened and is, thus, easy to write in from either side of the paper. As a left-handed individual, I no longer have to use a notebook from the last page to the first page simply to avoid the spiral binding obstructing my hand. Also, the extra monies wasted on pricy left-handed notebooks is now a thing of the past. The pages in the journal are sturdy and hold up well to erasures. Ink can also be used if preferred, but cannot be erased. Finally, the wonderful picture of the giraffes is located on both the front and back of the journal. Overall, this is a wonderful item that I will purchase again. Love it!

These Studio Oh! Hardcover Deconstructed journals are the best! I have been using them for my business for several years. I have just about every design. I prefer to hand write my meeting notes and tasks on lined paper before translating them onto an electronic device. They are made very well. The ink doesn't bleed through so you can write on both sides. Ink as well as pencil adheres to the paper without slipping. Even the highlighters don't bleed through. My favorite is the way the journal opens flat so you are always writing or doodling on a smooth surface. Can't wait to order my next batch. Great price as well.

Love this brand of notebook and this is the third I've gotten. Super nice that they open flat. Pages are a decent thickness. I use gel pens on them with little to no bleed through. This design is super cute, and I love it!

I'm rating this based on the quality and features, but I would like to note I was sent the Wildflower Journal instead of the moon phase one. Returning for the correct one. Overall this seems like a sturdy journal. It lays flat and has a thick cover. The binding is reinforced well. Pages seem thick. I did not test writing in it yet, but they seem like they would be fairly bleed proof like 120gsm is. I look forward to receiving the correct one so I can start using it!
