it worked

Product did not work at all. Plugged it directly into the HDMI jack on cabl box, then into the RCA jacks on an older TV and got no signal. Then I checked all the connections and made sure all devices were turned on and set correctly. Still nothing. Then I checked the RCA jacks on the TV by connecting it to a DVD player using a different cord that had RCA jacks at both ends. The TV picked up the signal from the DVD player just fine. The problem was definitely the HDMI to RCA cord. THIS PRODUCT Is JUNK. DO NOT BUY!

I can’t say that there was anything I particularly liked about this product because I spent two hours trying to get it to work as an adapter from the combination unit to the television. There was just no power produced at any time. The line was dead. I would advise you carefully to check other reviews and see if this is Commonproblem among this brand. If it had worked, the ease of installation would’ve been good, but as I said, no matter how I tried, I could not get any power to produce the exchange between the TV and the combination VCR DVD player. I gave it a one star only because there wasn’t the ability to leave a zero. I see that this product is now not available through Amazon and I think that problem. Is that it does not work.
