Amazon Basics Large Magnetic Dry Erase Whiteboard, 48" x 72", Aluminum frame, Silver/White

Yep this is definitely a school sized dry erase board! When I got the box I was like holy moly that’s big!My son is doing cyber school this year due to COVID and so is my Niece whom is the same age as my son. We’re planning on having them do it together some days. My brother in law is a teacher and for the first few months at least will be teaching online. So I got this baby for us all to use for the kids work and for my brother in law while he’s here teaching.I’ve had a few cheap dry erase boards and this is definitely better quality than those. My brother in law says it looks like it’s better built than the ones at his school, however he’s an inner city public school teacher so finding for his school isn’t that great. This thing is magnetic also which is a huge plus especially since I bought the dry erase markers that have magnets on them so they can stick to it so they won’t get lost as easily. So far we haven’t had any issues with erasing or anything like that but until school starts we’re just using it lightly so the true test will be using it daily. I will update then to let you know how it holds up!

Really, this is a great whiteboard. However, I don't recommend using their mounting system. If you bump it or aren't very careful when using it, it falls off the wall. I took it down and used drywall anchors and got it put back up. That was its only issue. Other than that it is just as expected.

The hanging instructions are pretty sparse (pictures mostly). Besides the two main hanger brackets, this large version comes with some some other brackets that I think would secure the board to the wall in non-stud places, insuring I suppose no one steals it? The two main brackets seem to hold it flush and strong, so I do not plan to install the five other brackets. Also the board came with an imperfection: a sort of ridge running down the center bottom third. It isn't too visible, but you can feel it, and see it in direct light. I was given the option of receiving a shipping label to return it. But it was specially delivered and there was no way I could get it to a location to return it. They also offered to give me a 50% discount. So I went with that.

Received many items larger than this by normal carriers. Amazon dropped the ball on this order. No one seems to know when it will come. Talked to 3 people on the phone about order. Couldn't understand them at all. They answered most questions with answers that did not make sense. It is a lightweight basic dry erase board. A simple normal item ordered by people. A special semi truck deliver is a waste of waiting 2 weeks for order and resources.

It has a good amount of arch to it. Doesn't sit flat on wall.Market rest is flimsy.

I saw some other reviews which say the same thing - it arrived with a corner bent and wouldn't lay flat on the wall until it was bolted back into shape with the bottom wall anchors. Given the time it took to get the thing, and the fact that it had to come 3rd party freight, I'm not returning it, however be aware - this is apparently a pretty common occurrence.

Board arrived already bowed with both having a crease on the face of the board. Hanging is difficult and the instructions order a screw to be put in the board despite there being no way to do s without mangling the board. Even with everything hung proper (minus the screw), these boards bowed an extra 3-5 inches within a week. Truly poor craftsmanship on these things.
