Update my review:Customer service reached me apologizing not able to get back to me on time because of their email server problem. They sent me a replacement battery the next day. After I put the new battery in, worked like a charm! Now the old iPhone can last a whole day with regular usage pattern. So far so good, no issue found for charging.Package contains all tools you need. Procedure is easy to follow. So I was convinced this "high capacity" battery could be a solution. After new battery was installed per instruction and videos, things went worse:1. Plugged in charger, charging sign showed up, but never across 2%. Back of phone was cold2. Phone continuously restarting, even with charger plugged inGoogled this problem, indicating defect battery. So I reached seller through email asking help (warranty or suggestions). No responses from seller AT ALL FOR MULTIPLE DAYS! No choice but to return back to Amazon.A very unhappy buying experience!

This kit had almost everything that I needed to do a battery replacement for an old iPhone 6S. The only thing that I felt could have been better was the instruction sheet, which was mostly sufficient. Early into removing the battery, the connector strip between the battery and the logic board needs to be detached, but the instructions are not abundantly explicit about that until a few steps later when it warns that if it wasn't completed earlier, contacts at this point may damage the phone. Also, the final step of the old battery removal was hard to parse and I ended up looking for a video tutorial online that more clearly explained what that the adhesive holding the old battery was being removed and how to remove that adhesive. If you are familiar with the process, the written instructions will be more than sufficient, though. The tools provided were good and the battery seems to holding a much better charge than the near six year old battery it replaced.

Wow! A very impressive product ... high capacity battery at a reasonable price, and a well designed installation kit. YouTube videos and were more helpful then the instructions. But, the designers of the installation kit took special care to deal with the special tiny screws (easy to lose and very hard to find again). The tiny screwdriver for these screws is magnetized and holds onto the screws when you take them out. And they included a little holding tray to keep them from rolling out of sight. Only after I clumsily lost one did I realize how important and helpful those features are.UPDATE .... 11/27/2021Battery swelled severely after 1 year's use. Pushed up the glass face of the iPhone. Took it to a local cell phone repair where the tech commented on the cheap quality of the battery when they replaced it.

Easy to install battery life when using phone drains quick but not really quick if that makes sense.... some apps drain it very fast.

I have always done my own repairs, and I have always ordered my parts off the Internet, I ran a cell phone repair store for eight years, so I know a good part from a bad part when I get it, as far as the battery I ordered from the seller goes, it was a very good part, it still works really really good to this day, I just updated to a new phone not long ago, but I gave the phone that I did this replacement on to a family member, and it still works very very well. If anything, the battery lasts much longer than the original one did… I strongly recommend if you’re going to do a battery replacement to buy from the seller.

The instructions and the tools provided made it very simple to swap out a battery on my Iphone 6. Spending $1000.00 for a new Iphone 14 just did not sound all that reasonable to me. Apple makes a good product, don't get me wrong. But the new phone game never seems to end. I recommend a decent set of nerd light-up magnifying glasses, as the screws are tiny. Also, I don't recommend removing the glass completely, or using a heat gun as recommended by the part supplier. Just flip the glass up and let the top cable act as a temporary hinge to support the glass at 90 degrees. Use a plastic automotive rivet prying tool from the side with the antenna leveraging the frame as a fulcrum pressure point to loosen the battery, applying moderate pressure cautiously, while the battery double sided tape pulls loose. Don't get in a rush, it will pull up uniformly without bending or scratching anything.

if you want to learn how to do the battery replacement it is best top start with an old phone. for the price it is a great learning tool. I was able to bring the old phone back to life and I am using it with touch portal a great use for old phones. As noted be careful removing your old battery, do not pry they can and will catch fire. I have not used this long enough to talk about life expectancy. It works great out of the box and installs well connector matches.
