I'm using this board to burn ESP8266-12F boards, it uses the copper wire contacts to communicate with the board. This board works but not when fully seated in the slot, I need to move it slightly to make better contact with the board. It would also work if I pull on the ESP8266 when seated completely flush with this development board, so this is something to keep in mind when trying to work with this otherwise this board works great.

I was previously programming my ESP12 modules using a breadboard and it was an absolute mess and pain. This board is great -- the ESP12F snaps right into the adjustable part and comes out just as easily.It's plug n play -- just select the specs of the module you're using (Generic ESP8266 Module) and upload while holding the flash button.If you are using ESP12F/Es in your projects, or want to use just the ESP12s instead of implementing whole NodeMCUs/other boards into your projects but are worried about programming them, here is the solution.

I’ve struggled breadboarding programmers for my ESP01s modules. No longer. After downloading the USB driver from Silicon Labs, I dropped a module into the connector on this board and programmed the module with no issues! Wow! The board has connections for other ESP modules and I have some ESP12f mods on order. I fully expect there will be no issues with them.

The media could not be loaded. Great product. Worked perfectly and clearly well designed and made.I have been using it to program and develop with the ESP12F and it makes life way simpler from the Arduino IDE over USB

Honestly barely knew what I was looking at when I got this. But I did research and made sure I got the right parts to start building on esps. Arduino concert here. Slow to the game and stupidly. This burner works excellent as a prototype board before soldering down connections. Probably my favorite little doohickey lately

This essentially turns an ESP12f (or other compatible device) into an ESP8266 for programming, plus it has breakout pins for testing the device and code. Couldn’t be simpler if you are familiar with programming the ESP8266.

Worked like a charm after changing the com port.

Wow, just wow. It have saved me so much trouble connecting and unconnecting wire from the arduino...Worth every penny to be hassel free.
