I recently tried the Drain Deodorizer Sticks and found their performance to be average, leading me to give them a three-star rating. While they offer convenience and some deodorizing effects, their effectiveness in eliminating odors and maintaining clean drains fell short of my expectations.One of the positive aspects of these drain deodorizer sticks is their convenience. The stick format makes them easy to use and requires minimal effort. Simply insert a stick into the drain, and it will slowly dissolve over time, releasing its fragrance and deodorizing agents. The sticks are also easy to store and handle, with no messy liquids or sprays involved. This convenience is a notable advantage.The deodorizing effect of the Drain Deodorizer Sticks is noticeable, albeit to a limited extent. They help mask and reduce mild odors emanating from the drain, providing a fresher scent in the bathroom or kitchen. However, for more persistent or strong odors, the sticks may not be powerful enough to completely eliminate them. The effectiveness can vary depending on the specific odor and the severity of the issue.Unfortunately, the performance of the Drain Deodorizer Sticks in maintaining clean drains was not as impressive. While they may help reduce odors, they do not actively break down or remove buildup or clogs in the drain pipes. This means that they may not prevent or address underlying issues causing drain blockages or slow drainage. For optimal drain maintenance and to tackle more significant clogs, additional products or measures may be necessary.Another factor to consider is the duration of effectiveness. It's important to note that the performance might diminish over time as the sticks dissolve.

The sticks are like a limp wax candle consistency. You have to use surgical precision to take one out of the packing without breaking it. If you have an in sink erator for kitchen sink, this product can't work. I dropped a stick in the other sinks. There is ZERO fragrance or any kind... not even for one day. No I don't have anosmia. In fact, the vanity sink in the bathroom got blocked immediately and had to use a lot of pumping / pulling to push the stick away. Not worth it. No fragrance or any "enzyme" activity evident. Just a gimmick. Its only $8 ish... but as a principle, I returned it back for a full refund from Amazon. Normally I just throw it away, but the pain and grief trying to undo the stick warranted a full refund.

Good product

We've been using these for some time. Never have any smell or clogs. Same for old pipes. A must-have for old and new homes alike. Pop one a month in the kitchen, bathroom, and shower, and you're good to go. Much better deal buying in the multipack.

I bought this same product again because the first time the sticks were thicker and more flexible than competitors' same product which was true, not this time.This time the sticks were thin and brittle just like their competitors and just like their competitors some of the sticks were already broken when the package arrived.Taking out unbroken sticks required great care as they broke easily which 2 did as I removed them.I paid extra money for this brand compared to others because the first time I bought them the product was of high quality, thicker and more flexible than their competitors, no more.
