it's a good purchase.
We've already tested the burner. It works wonderfully. It holds a large pot. Lunch for the whole family. I made a good purchase. Although I've already seen a burner that comes with legs and doesn't require you to bend down to use it. But it's a good purchase.

Works great, but
Received my burner the other day. Works great, and I like the little extra touch of the wrench for attaching the gas line to the unit. Only issue I have so far is that when I went to season my wok, I set the wok, round bottom 14”, on the burner, it sets real low, and causes the flame to get some yellow in it. Had to season wok with me holding it up above flames, but I got it done. Takes a bit of tweaking on the valves, but unit works great. Question, do they make a wok ring to raise my wok on, or am I suppose to cook on the small grating that sets on top for regular pans? After corresponding with their customer support, I am suppose to set the grating on top of the unit when I cook with it. Works great. Thumbs up to their customer support. Responded within 12 hrs. Great

A little finicky but overall pretty good
Inital use review: Burner arrived well packaged with no damage. The included wrench that hangs with the regulator is very handy to have right there when you need it. Casting is on par with anyone else that produces these types of outdoor cookers. It's surprisingly easy to transport and not super heavy. The air control can be sort of finicky, but once dialed in works well. I like being able to use the inner and outer rings independently. I found that the air controls setting change once you place a round bottom wok on it that sits very close to the flames- that's where the air control is a little touchy. My round bottom wok sits roughly 1/4" above the center burner. This may work better for a flat bottom wok, but haven't been able to test that yet.As for the burner stand, it holds the burner securely without needing screws/hardware. Although its a little awkward to remove or put back on. This will get quite hot, so I don't recommend putting this on anything that can't handle the heat, like a plastic table for example. Haven't used the mini pot support yet, but I suspect the paint will immediately burn off. It would be a good idea to get that done before placing any pot/pans on it.One issue I have, and why it loses 1 star. This thing hates the wind, whether on a low simmer or high. A light gust of wind will put it out on a low simmer. And on a high burn, the flame won't go out, but flutters quite a bit.Overall good purchase, I made fried rice no problem. However if your getting something strictly for woks, I'd look for something better shielded from the wind. For general purpose this will get things done, but again, it doesn't like the wind.

Will not hold any sized pot
The media could not be loaded. So we wanted to love this piece but the burner does not hold any sized pot. My pot is within the product's dimensions but it slides off because of the angled sides of the burner. I am sure it works great for a wok. This item cannot be returned through Amazon. What needs to happen is add a grate that will actually stabalize the size pots the listing claims will work.🔥Widely Comparbility: ARC outdoor stove propane cooker is suitable for cookware to 10.5-16 inch, weight limit 40KG(88LB); The burner should place on flat ground or stone, granite table. My pot is 12.25" and slips off the burner resulting is boiling water splashing all over, a burn hazard.

Perfect!
I bought the 30,000 btu unit with stand. I bought a 100,000 btu Gas One Propane burner last spring and it was just too big and it was really terrible on low settings. If I wanted to use a regular size pot or pan for slow cooking the burner couldn’t get that low without going out all the time. Plus that burner was 10” in diameter instead of 8” like the ARC burner. That 2” really makes a difference. When using a 10” pan on a 10” burner a lot of the flame is being wasted by going up the side of the pot or pan instead of being directly beneath it.Also the thing about really high btu stoves is the regulator allows so much more gas to reach the stove, and the flame holes are bigger, that you really need to have it cranked up or it just keeps going out (even with a blue flame). So basically the Gas One stove is only good for pots larger 12” or larger. That really limits what you can cook efficiently. Big stock pots or deep frying turkeys which I do neither of.I got the 8” 30,000 btu thinking it would suit my type of cooking and sautéed seafoods like shrimp and calamari flambéed with wine, onions mushrooms, butter, lemon and seasoning where you need a big enough flame to ignite the alcohol in the wine but also need to drop the flame real low to simmer afterwards and let all the flavors soak in. I”m extremely happy with the performance of this stove and it’s built like a tank. Get the stand with it, you won’t be sorry. I’m a retired chef and a high performance stove is a must have for me. Here’s a big shout out to ARC! Thank you👍
