As a connoisseur of decorative LED lighting, these smart plugs are an absolute essential for my home. Setup & pairing is very simple & requires no hidden subscription or additional cost. The app integrates seamlessly with Alexa so new devices are automatically added & can be controlled with voice commands. The only downside is the width of the devices, making them difficult to use with horizontal outlet splitters though they work wonderfully with vertical surge protectors. TreatLife is always my go to brand for quality, affordable smart home devices.

Works as advertised. It was just what I needed to add some automation to my home. Great features when combined with the smart life app.

My Treatlife wall plugs work and my wife especially likes them. She says she loves walking out of the bedroom in the early morning and finds the living room and den lit up. The scheduler and timer is the thing that we both like. However, getting the plugs into the network was not easy.The supposedly easy directions to get the plugs found and on the network were neither easy nor clear. I believe that the only reason I got mine on the network is because I refused to be bested by a programmable wall socket. The problems that I found with the directions follow:1. There were no directions about finding the reset switch2. The time to hold the reset switch to get the item reset was much longer than printed in the instructions3. The sequence of instructions to add the device to the network was not correct.I kept playing with the devices to get them recognized by the network until I got them on teh network. I had four wall plugs and they had to be independently added to the network. The sequence of events to get each one on the network was a little different. However, once I got each of them on the network, they have worked without issue since then. The program to set the timers works as expected and has not had an issue since the timers for each module were created.The instructions for adding the timers was not clear either. When you want a wall plug to turn on and stay on for a period of time, you have to create two different schedules. The first schedule will turn the wall plug on the second will turn the wall plug off. There is no way to create a single schedule to turn the plug on for a period of time and then turn it back off.In summary, once you get the Treatlife wall plugs on the network, they seem to work fine. However, getting them to work on your network can be tricky. The instructions enclosed with the modules is not detailed and does NOT work as described. Once you get them on the network, however, they seem to work with no further issues.

The media could not be loaded. Quick review (just got them). Spent 45 mins trying to connect the smart plugs to the "Treatlife" app. Couldn't get them to pair. So, watched a YouTube video that made all the difference. The instructions that came with the plugs ask you to download "Treatlife" but in reality you must download "Smart Life". Once I downloaded the correct app, they paired immediately!! Got two set up in the bedroom in less than 10 mins and paired with the Alexa app. When you open the Alexa app, it will "see" the devices already and download a skill for them. Then, you complete the details (rename the plug, indicate if it's a light or not, etc., add to a group). Easy! I wasted a lot of time with the wrong app. The pack comes with 4 plugs and got them paired quickly and installed. This is cost-effective because you get 4 plugs for (I paid) $27. Just be sure to download the Smart Life app before you get started. Then, the instructions aren't necessary - the app pretty much does it on its own. Maybe the instructions are outdated, don't know. Recommend them so far. We'll see what happens over time. Updated: struggling to keep them connected. Had to reset several of them a few times. They keep going offline. Starting to get frustrating. I guess you get what you pay for. Alexa keeps asking me to identify them because they go offline and I have to restart them. Lowering the star rating to one!
