but it needed a better step by step manual to put it back together
Worked ok for my 1970 Ford truck alternator, but it needed a better step by step manual to put it back together. Pay very close intension how it comes apart and reverse the process. Also I needed to purchase the aft (rear) bearing at the auto parts store. $ 5/6 My box did not come with both bearings. It may be helpful if you have a bearing press to get the bearings in and out. If you rebuild your alternator you should also replace or check the voltage regulator at the same time.

Haven't measured output yet, but seems to be doing well.

If you can solder, this is an easy project.
Easy install. i did not replace the bearing as the original showed no wear.
