I bought two of these for my 6 year old grandson for Christmas. One for him, and one to be his opponent. He's always playing 'snake rivals' on his tablet and brought the game to life using his toy cars as pretend snakes. Unfortunately, no one had a chance to win against him since he controlled the cars. With these RC snakes, the playing field is leveled. Anyway, they were a big hit at Christmas, even with the adults. They move like a real snake. The only problem is they eat through batteries like crazy.

The pieces broke twice in 2 days...i think the product is great but if you have on the floor or in toy box and something brushes against, it broke easy. Pieces were easy to snap off, and reattach parts that werent broke but after 2 times wasnt as long. Kids still found pleasure in it maybe if it came with a few exra pieces it would be even better. I would still recommend to buy, just be extra cautious and store in a safe place not to high cause if it falls from any height, chances are a piece will break. I wish i had something like this when i was a kid.

Purchased for my 9 year old son. I was pleasantly surprised about how much he likes this. It moves very well on hard floors and was larger than I thought it would be.

This product is easy to use for my 5 year old. Some down sides, we have to take it apart weekly to clean the hair from the wheels, and it's a pain in the butt, I can see this toy breaking from how often we have to open it up. It won't run on carpet (thick). The snake doesn't actually move straight... you have to toggle both red buttons to get it to move in a semi straight line.

A month after Christmas and this toy is still working fine! Kids loved it.

This is such a cool toy...for, like, a day. Unfortunately for our newly minted 5-year-old, it stopped working on day two, and replacing batteries to the snake and the remote did nothing. It says it's not eligible for a return: "For safety reasons, items containing flammable liquids or gases can’t be returned to Amazon. For more information or help, please contact us. " However, this is just a plastic toy snake with a remote control, so I don't know why it wouldn't be eligible. This reason seems misplaced, and Amazon was unable to help us get a refund due to this "non-refundable" warning. It's really too bad. Now I'm searching for a replacement snake to help make the birthday boy feel better. Ten bucks down the drain. NOT recommended...

Great birthday gift for a 4-year-old. Doesn't work well on carpets, works better on a hard surface floor. Seems to be good quality.
