It can be used as a more permanent fence with alterations.
We used these panels to put a fence completely around our yard at the lake. It was relatively easy to set up.The fence was NOT designed to be used as a permanent fence - however that is how we are using it. In order to use it as a permanent fence I had to add/install/pound into the ground shorter steel fence posts after every 3rd panel, and wire the exposed part of the steel fence posts to the adjoining panels to give the fence the stability to stay standing up. This was necessary to keep the fence standing up straight for longer sections of fence that we wanted to be in a straight line. I then had to use very strong wire to wrap around the posts (that I'd pounded into the ground) and the sides of the adjoining panels. Otherwise the wire posts (supplied with the fence) would simply not be strong enough to keep longer sections of the fence standing. We're very happy with how it turned out. The primary purpose of the fence is keep geese out of our yard at the lake and to keep pets and grandchildren in.

Amazing way to protect our raised garden beds
3 years ago, I tried to make some DIY fencing (posts and green plastic grid fencing material) to protect my garden from my naughty pups. It was a disaster! My pups, particularly one, just got under the material in small gaps and dug up my flower beds, killed some plants. We recently took up the idea of rescuing these garden beds again, but doing it right this time. There were many similar products on Amazon and it was hard to decide, but we decided these based on 1) price and 2) size. Durability was important, ofc, but again, all these seemed not that different from the listings, hard to tell. I honestly don't believe claims of rust-proof when something is in the $100 range. You'd need powder coated or 100% stainless steel, and you can't get that for $100, which was what we wanted. I don't see a tiny bit of rust as a dealbreaker, as we can just sand the spot and hit it with a shot of Rustoleum one day to revive it.Received it in a big heavy box. Once we removed all materials (and it was nicely packed, foam cushioned and zip tied together), it was extremely easy to assemble. I didn't read instructions, it was self-explanatory and i had it up in less than 15 minutes. There is a section in the front where we couldn't push down the stakes (brick face patio), so I improvised and hammered some ground tarp staples into the wood, then zip-tied the fencing to that--perfect. It is stable enough that the wind doesn't even shake it.Some other reviewers worried about it standing up to big dogs. I mean, I guess it all depends on the dog and the motivation. I have seen videos of malinois jumping 9 foot fences with ease. If you have a jumper who is determined to get in a garden, I don't think any similar fences will keep it out. My dogs are basset hounds and older and wiser now. Although my boy could jump 3 feet up if properly motivated, a garden full of veggies is not gonna stir up his mischief when he is 9 yo and living the good life with raw meals twice a day. They have respected the fencing so far. I reinforced the fencing with old leftover posts (bound to new fencing with zip ties), and it feels super sturdy, I think even if a large animal tried to push it (not like a buffalo or sheep size ramming it lol... but like a rambunctious golden retriever, let's say). The fencing is pretty flush with the ground and I also don't think small animals can get in easily (nor would they likely try, as my hounds leave their scent everywhere). The two gate doors are easy to open and close; they latch easily. It's fully modular, so it was an easy choice for us how to position the doors (so they would open into two aisles). Love that we have reclaimed our garden from the meddling dogs!

Anti-Bunny=Happy Garden!
Update: while adult bunnies can't get in... they sent to babies! Ugh!Pretty easy to install... had my granddaughter help. So far no bunnies are eating my garden! I do like how sturdy it stands, I only reinforced the gate section. I also like the ability to place it is the shape that works for me. This purchase covered two garden sections (only one pictured).

SUGGESTION for Design Flaw
This is a great product - easy to install, aesthetically appealing, and durable. HOWEVER, - and I have a suggestions for the company to make a slight adjustment to the design - baby bunnies can get through the bottom panels because the gap is too wide. The gap works well to keep adult bunnies out of the vegetable garden, but I recommend the company add an extra horizontal rung across the bottom foot to narrow the gap around ground level. I had to install chicken wire fencing around the entire bottom foot of this product, which is quite time consuming. Small tweak for a great reward!

Great
I put around my trampoline to keep the dog off. He only cleared it once but it definitely deters him and keeps him out so he won’t ruin the netting. Easy assembly.

Absolutely love this for my dogs
I seriously want to buy more. I love this fencing so much. I have small dogs and when I let them out on the patio, one side of the patio is completely open. I have the ends anchored between two heavy flower pots for now but just doing that so far, this holds up amazing. Not phased by wind or rain. Amazing price for quality product!

Sturdy product, easy to assemble
Wow. Excellent product. Sturdy. Attractive. Quick, easy assembly. Won’t hold up to windy storms, but it’s easy to either reinforce or lay down. I no longer have to worry about my old, blind dog stumbling into the pool. A+
