It was wrapped in plastic, so it didn’t look like much at first, but once I cut open the plastic, it unfurled quickly – a bit too quickly, honestly! It took a couple of days to fully expand to its full size, and there was a slight chemical smell at first, but that faded after a few days, especially with some fresh air.The mattress is thick and leans more on the firm side, giving great support throughout the night. The hybrid design really works well – the pocket springs offer excellent back support, while the memory foam adds a nice, soft touch that contours to your body. It’s just been really comfortable to sleep on, and I wake up feeling rested and ready to start my day.

Very impressed with this mattress, bounced up as soon as it was opened. Looks well made and comfy. As I got it for our spare room, I can't comment on what it's like after a nights sleep. But is a major improvement on the one before. Got it for a good price and was glad I paid for it to be opened upstairs and the old one disclosed of, as it was very heavy and wouldn't have managed it myself

On first use it feels like there is less than enough memory foam. I am 6ft 3 and 240lbs, so it's much firmer than expected once the springs and foam expand fully. It's very heavy to move in the box so need two people to help lift upstairs and unpack. Corners are firm with supporting springs, sides are a little less firm but nothing to worry about.Overall happy with the product, it was shallower than my last mattress by 2 inch's but no issue with support or cushioning, decent for the price.
