My almost four year old grandson is just beginning to enjoy playing with and learning about dinosaurs. I looked for a set of plastic dinosaurs that he could have fun with and found this great set. Not only does it have 12 dinosaurs, it has a full-color paperback book and a nice cardboard carrying/storage box that holds the 12 easily.The book is a wonderful add-on in this set compared to others that I found. I have been rewarding him with two items from this set per week for the last 7 weeks. The first week, he got the book and a dinosaur, then two dinosaurs per week until the last week when he received one dinosaur and the carrying box.It gave us a lot of pleasure over the last two months and allowed us time to look at the book, absorb the information and discuss the “new” dinosaurs over the entire week. Now that he has the full set, he is over the moon about them and loves playing with them. For a fairly inexpensive gift, it was a real hit and one that he will continue to enjoy for a long time.The dinosaurs, which are approximately 7 inches tall/long, included in this kit are: Allosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Apotsaurus, Velociraptor, Parasaurolophus, Diplodocus, Monoclonius, Pachycephalosaurus, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, and Tryannosaurus (T-Rex). When I first opened the box, it was so packed that some of the dinosaurs standing on two feet could not quite stand on their own. I was able to tweak the legs back into position and now all stand well by themselves.

I bought this item twice. One set for my house and one set for the child’s home. He loves the book and the song nds , he is matching dinosaurs to pictures(2yo) and attempting to say their names.

My 2 and a half year old is obsessed with dinosaurs. We recently found a toddler counting dinosaur video by "Hazel's mom" in YouTube, which he makes me play over and over again. I am glad I found the same dinosaurs ahe uses on the video because they are big enough, just as described, high quality, great price and my son can even take baths with them. Those dinosaurs are his favorite. My photo only shows some as my son keeps taking them one by one and we had two dups we got from grandpa so now he has 14. I love that it comes with a book with the names and cool facts about the dinosaurs. I know 11 put of 12 of the names as my son asks me for their names a million times a day...he knows most of them by now.He was very excited when he saw the dinosaur box, opened it and found so many cool dinosaurs. This is definitely a great gift for dinosaur lovers! The purple dinosaur doesn't stand but we can deal with that.

Very nice dinosaur toys. I used them in the pool and they have held up from abuse of salt water and chlorine water. Color stayed true. Very nice size and variety of dinos. Would buy again as a gift.

These dinosaurs are great for any dinosaur fan. They're a good size and their durable. The details on the dinosaurs are very thorough and realistic, however the colors of the dinosaurs were not as realistic which was disappointing. Some dinosaurs were either much brighter than they appeared on the picture or much darker. Why these dinosaurs were ever marked $29.99 is beyond me because they're not that high of quality. If you want a little higher quality, I recommend the Joyin Toy 18 Pieces 6" to 9" Educational Realistic Dinosaur Figures with Movable Jaws. But if you just want to play with dinosaurs, paying $17 for 12 large dinosaurs is not a bad deal. Plus the book that comes with the kit is really nice! That was the main thing that swayed me to get this kit. This way my niece could practice identifying dinosaurs and learning facts about them while playing. Overall, my niece liked them and we added them to the other set of dinosaurs we purchased.

Fantastic!!! For the price, I didn't expect the figures to be so well done and the whole concept to be so well thought out. The box comes with 12 good sized dinosaur models. They are colorful and match the features of each individual dinosaur very well. But honestly what blew me away was the book that comes along with the package. It has a page for each dinosaur, with lots of interesting facts, and a nicely illustrated picture, as well as a picture of the dinosaur figurine. What a great idea! My 20 month old son immediately started matching the dinosaurs he was holding to the same photo in the book and then asking me to "Read it!". He turns each page one by one and then finds the corresponding dinosaur and then we read the page of facts and information about the dinosaur. Within a very short time he has learned the names - and quite a few of the facts - of every single dinosaur in the box. The only small thing is that the T-Rex doesn't stand up on his own and the Velociraptor can only stand if balanced very carefully. It would be a little nicer if they could all stand up, but it's honestly not a huge deal. Still very happy with the purchase!

The little dinosaur toys match the photo of dinosaurs on each page in the book with a little history and the sound of the corresponding Dinosaurs. The button for pronunciation of the dinosaur’s name is very helpful. Our toddler is almost 2 and loves it! Supervision may be needed the tails of the toys are a little pointy.
