Quality, taste, digestibility.
My dogs love this food. It's human grade food made in a human food factory. One box goes a long way because it's dehydrated. You mix hot water into it and you have a warm fresh nutritious food that is wholesome and meets human grade food standards. Their coats are silky soft and they have no digestive issues. They love the food and eat it enthusiastically. I highly recommend this food to any pet parent who wants to feed a wholesome nutritious food.

Doggies love it!
I use this as a food topper to add some added moisture and flavor to kibble. My doggies love the taste. As soon as I scoop out to prepare they are lingering around waiting for some! Easy to prepare, and dogs seemed to be more energetic and have good poops. I make a small batch every 3days for my girls so they always have fresh food.

My dog approves!
This is my dog’s absolute favorite food. I love that it’s human-grade with real ingredients, and it smells like actual food when you add water. My pup’s coat is shinier, digestion is great, and she licks the bowl clean every time. Worth every penny for the quality.

Great food, not good price
So the pros, this is easy peasy fresh/canned food alternative. It's the canned food without the can. It's the fresh food without the meal prep and cooking! It's a hybrid and the best of both worlds, all you need to do is just add water! That being said... (oh and 40lbs of dog food in a 10lb box that I can actually carry up 3 flights of stairs... YES please!!) the cons... I don't think this is good for big dogs or a lot of dogs. This can get real expensive, real fast and to be honest... I have never measured... BUT I don't think it makes 40lbs of food... what I mean by that is.... 40lbs of dog food (dried kibble) takes me X amount of weeks to go through... this box that supposedly makes 40lbs of dog food... did NOT last me that same amount of time. I was going through this stuff MUCH quicker than I ever was my dry kibble. My dogs LOVED it! That's good. I DON'T think I was overfeeding them.. WHY? bc none of them gained weight! They stayed the same... So... that leads me to think.. again.. this doesn't make exactly 40lbs of dog food equivalent. This is good for little dogs or not that many dogs OR for people who have a lot of $$ and no budget for dog food. Would I recommend, yes for those folks I just listed above otherwise, no. Would I repurchase? I have and off and on will but will use this as a supplement NOT for the entire source of their food. But quality is amazing and the dogs love it! It's fresher than canned food and kibble and it takes the work out of cooking for your dog.

Hypoglycemia in small dogs
My dog had been on your food for about a year. Small Chihuahua, 5lbs. A few months back I bought a new box of the Whole Grain Chicken Dog Food, 10 lbs. I noticed that the smell was very different from the last box I had, and that the texture was quite different too. But my dog was fine and excited to eat it still so I kept her on it. A few weeks into the new batch I did notice her losing fur, thinning on her stomach and legs. I didn't think to much of it because Alopecia in Chihuahua's isn't super uncommon.Last week she started to act really strange, she is a very food motivated dog and jumps with excitement anytime she is about to be fed, once in the morning and once in the evening. She lost interest in the food completely, we had to pick her up and put her in front of the bowl to get her to eat.Other symptoms included:Unusual behavior like:Restlessness and AnxietyGlassy unfocused eyes (couldn't get her attention)Possible focal seizuresIncessant sniffing (like institutionally looking for food, could not get her attention or get her to stop once she started.)DisorientedLethargy (no excitement for attention, car rides, anything she normally would get excited about)The first thing I did was make sure there was no poison she could have gotten into, which checked out. No poison to be found. The second thing I did was changer her food, went and bought her the dry stuff she had been on before and fed it to her that evening. This was the weekend so I scheduled a vet appointment for Monday. The next morning there was a bit of improvement, I kept her with me all day. By the evening I fed her the same dry kibble, she had perked up some. The next morning when I went to feed her she was almost back to normal, aside from still being a little spacey she seemed pretty much back to normal. Improvements continued to where she is back to normal now. After much research and talking with the vet clinic we came to the conclusion it was hypoglycemia.Be aware of these symptoms, if your dog starts acting like this I would suggest changing food immediately and a trip to the vet.I feel like it had to do with this last batch of food, because the last batch she did fine on.
