Best rack for the money. Simple, secure, and held the bike down at 20 mph over Tex@s’ highest speed limit. 10/10.

I bought this to use with my Audi OEM roof bars, since both use an inverted T bolt to hold the carrier to the bars (and I believe it is all made by Thule for BMW and Audi respectively). Unfortunately for me, Audi uses a 20mm x 20mm head on the T-Bolt and BMW uses a 24mm x 30mm, so the BMW did not fit out of the box in the Audi rail. Luckily, my dremel tool with some reinforced cutting wheels was handy and I quickly cut the BMW down to 20mm x 30mm, and they easily fit in the Audi slot. The carrier itself is well made and looks good and was much less expensive than other carriers I looked at that fit using a T-Bolt in a slot, so all-in-all I am pleased with the product. The only "downside" is that cruiser type bikes with really fat tires don't fit as well in the U shape of the rail but it still works. Our Elektra Townie bikes have no problem. The Elektra Daisy bike has fatter tires and while it works, it is not as easy or good a fit as the Townie which have slightly narrower tires.

It’s a BMW part made by Thule (I think). A1 quality, keeps bike in place and survives the harsh Florida rain and sun. That’s a yes from me.

product is easy tom install and looks fantastic. only negative thing i would say is shipping and handling. box was damaged which made me nervous but i was ok on condition of product. i guess cant do anything

Easy install. Only thing I dislike is it only loads from the right side. I don’t know if you can flip the rack to make it load from the left to make it easier to load the drivers side bike.

I bought two of the bike racks. They fit perfectly into the crossbars on my 2013 128i. Each rack has three snaps that hold it in place, one requires a key. The arm that secures to the bike frame also locks, so no one can steal the bike or the bike rack off your car. The racks also have rubber belts that hold the wheels firmly in the track, even fat tires. Remember to remove the rubber from the crossbars to install the bike rack(s) on top. This product is high quality and made in Romania.

After using it a few times, I got to understand how it all works. It’s very easy to use. Works well at high speeds. Locks are very handy.

This BMW branded rack is made by Thule but is a fraction of the price of their bike racks? This is a really good deal and holds my urban style bike securely.
